There once was a race between humans and monsters. One day a human fell down into a hole called the Ruins, King Asgore's Son Asriel saw the fallen human and brought the child to the Ruins. King Asgore's And Queen Toriel treated the fallen human as if he/she were one of their own. But one day the human was sick and asked prince Asriel to do something before the human died. It was to see a patch of yellow golden flowers up on the surface. Asriel went into the surface and went to a village nearby. He saw a patch of yellow golden flowers and brought the human to it. Some of the village people saw Asriel with the human and thought he had killed him/her. The humans threw whatever they had at Asriel but he was still standing. After they had finished Ariel walked away then fell to the ground. War began since King Asgore found out his son was killed. The humans made the Ruins blocked up and the monsters never came up to the surface ever again. Legend says those who climb up the mountain near the Ruins never come back.
