Nick's POV

It's been about two weeks since Luna told me to never contact her again. I surprisingly listened to her. Maybe this is what's supposed to happen. This is a sign that I should get over her, and I will. I think. It can't be that hard.

I just can't stand thinking about another guys hands around her, another guys lips on her cheek, another guy telling her he loves her. That should be me, and only me. But she wasn't mine in the first place.

Who am I kidding? I can't get over her.

"Stop thinking about her." Jack said.

"What are you talking about?"

"Luna. Stop thinking about Luna." He says, continuing to play his video game.

"I'm not." I lie.

"Dude, I'm not dumb." He still doesn't move his eyes from the screen.

"I'm sorry." That caught me by surprise. I never expected Jack to apologize.

"For?"

"For daring you to do that. That was fucked up and I ruined your friendship with her." He said.

"No, I didn't have to go along with it. I was the one that ruined everything."
