5 year old Maisy was upstairs in her bedroom playing with her dolls when she suddenly heard the front door slam. She immediately put her dolls down and tip toed down the wooden stair case to see what was going on. No one was down there, not even her dog, Jewel. She suddenly heard a strange noise coming from the cupboard, it sounded like her mum crying in there... But her mum never cries, or even sad. Maisy opens the cupboard very slowly and then reveals her mother sobbing in the cupboard. Maisy then pipes up "Mum are you ok?" She then replies "yes darling I'm fine". "Are you sure mum? you are crying, you never cry" . Maisy is a very intelligent girl for the the age of 5, she knows when something is wrong almost immediately. Her mum replied "You wouldn't understand sweetie". After her mum had said that Maisy closed the door and went back to playing with her dolls, but she was concerned about her mother.
