Since you were back at school and Niall was back in the UK he said it would be easier for him to come up to Glasgow for your first date than for you to go down to London. You called him and offered to meet him at the airport and he said yeah that would be awesome and you physically couldn't wait! you hadn't seen him since the day you first met him and although you called and texted him every day you were still anxious about seeing him again. At this point, you two were just good friends and got on really well and generally enjoyed talking to each other. Niall text and told you what time his flight was due in and said "see ya soon babe - can't wait!" the butterflies in your stomach suddenly started to flutter because you were about to go out with Niall, the man of your dreams because he liked you! you!!! you opened you wardrobe and had a look and couldn't decide what to wear and opted for a smart casual look so you didn't look too fancy. You wore a coral skater skirt and a black top with black ankle boots and headed for your train to Glasgow. You were on your phone the full train journey to your friend panicking about what to say and do you hug him? What do I do? you asked her. She said just be yourself, if he already likes you why do you need to act different. You got in the taxi to the airport and waited at the terminal for him. As the time approached for his flight to arrive the butterflies in your stomach had multiplied into thousands and you were the most nervous you had ever been in your life. As people began to arrive, you seen hundreds of them all head towards the baggage reclaim but no sign of Niall yet. You began to worry that he stood you up and you began to feel sick. But 10 minutes later when most of the people had left Niall appeared and ran towards you, put his arm around you and spun you in a circle giving you the biggest hug. On the inside you were literally dying with excitement and you could tell that he was equally as excited to see you! he finally put you down and put his arm around you as you headed out the airport. He told you that he had already arranged what you would do for the date and as you walked out the doors a car was waiting for you too and he walked slightly ahead and opened the door for you, you got in the car and he got in the other side and the car left. You had no idea where you were going but didn't really care because you were with Niall. He asked how you were and you said "better now that I'm with you!" he said the same thing. He asked how school was going and you asked about tour and you just had polite chit chat. The car stopped and when you opened the door, you were at none other than Nandos. You thought to yourself "well it is Niall so i should have expected this. However when you two walked in the door, there was no one else there, just a couple of staff and that was it apart from a table set up just for you two with a single red rose sitting on it for you. Niall told you that he wanted it to be special since it was your first date so he hired the full of nandos out so that you could talk in private and not have to worry about people coming up to him all the time. This was the most romantic thing anyone had ever done for you and you didn't really know what to do. You told him that this was perfect and a waiter came over and took you to the table, you both sat, placed your order and just kind of stared at each other. As you stared into Niall's perfect blue eyes he told you that he was so glad you came up to him the first day you met because he well, was beginning to fall for you. You couldn't believe that he just said that he was falling in love with you and without hesitation, you told him the same thing and went on to tell him that you have been in love with him since 2010. he smiled at you and began to laugh and said "how the hell after all these years do you still want to be my girlfriend?" you began to blush as that familiar red glow took over your face. "I don't mean to sound creepy "you said "but in my eyes you are perfect and well.... I've always thought that." Niall told you that you were perfect and you were the most beautiful girl in the world and he was the luckiest guy alive to have found you. Soon, you dinner came and for once Niall seemed to be interested in something that wasn't the food. He asked you questions about yourself the hardly anyone had cared to ask before and every word you said, he listened too. You felt as if you had talked about yourself enough and you began to ask him questions - mostly about what it's like to be mobbed all the time - and you finally asked him why he picked you. Out of every girl he has ever spoke to around the world he chose you. He didn't even hesitate to reply and he said "(Y/N) look, I really like you and I have never felt as comfortable around someone that I've met only once before in my life. It feels like I've known you for years and as we have been talking for the past few months, I'm finding it difficult to imagine my life without you. You are such a fun person and honestly... I just want to be around you all the time because you make me happy. Is that a good enough reason to pick you?" You didn't know what to say. "I really didn't know you felt that way Niall" you mumbled. "It's just... I've basically been in love with you since I first seen you on the x factor and not one day as went by that I haven't imagined you coming and picking me up and we drive off into the sunset." he smiled and said "well now is the perfect time to actually ask: will you be my girlfriend?" without a doubt in your mind you said yes and he stood up and shouted "yesss!!!!" you smiled and laughed at him. As your date came to an end, Niall told you that this had been one of the best nights of his life because he got you and you felt the exact same way. You two went back to the car and it took you home. The full way back you and Niall had the best laugh ever and you had never smiled as much in your life! as the car pulled up at your house, Niall leaned over and hugged you really tight and just as you were about to get out the car, we grabbed your hand and said "wait!" he looked deep into your eyes and kissed you with his warm hands grasping your face. He said "thank you for actually turning up tonight, it's been amazing." he gave you one last kiss on the cheek and you got out of the car and waved goodbye. You had to actually think to yourself wow.... did that actually just happen? but then a notification come up on your phone from twitter, it was Niall! he tweeted that he just had the best date of his life and it was all thank to you. It was your dream come true, Niall loved you and wanted to tell the world.
