0330: Me and my roommate wake up to the phone ringing. We know what it is so we don't answer it. It a loud hey motherfucker wake up time to get this shit over with. So we get dressed and head downstairs to the lobby. We were both told what to have and what not to have to eat at M.E.P.S. This is how you get into the military. Every branch goes through it. So if you're going to be a Marine...don't act better than us yet.

0400: We arrive at the main building. Where its a series of exams, shots, blood work, even getting close to naked to test mobility. This take all day. Sorry I'm not giving details yet.

1645 or 4:45 pm: All of the examinations are done. the bring us to this blood red felt room with a podium and all of the branch symbols. This is where we raise our right hand and swear to defend the Constitution, obey all orders the the President and so on. At the end of the day we sign our contracts with our thumbprint, and a picture. They make sure you really want to do this. I enlisted as a 25B I.T. Specialist. At the age of 17.
