Chapter 3

I tried to pry away at the thought of who I saw before. I mean there is no way it could be... him.

"Lacey, you alright? Your sweating like crazy! You seem to be nervous and scared, like you saw something you didn't want to see." Sarah asked me.

"Yea actually I did, I tell you about it later."
I said still sweating bullets.

I couldn't concentrate the rest of biology still thinking about him.

"Okay, but you better tell me." Sarah whispered.

I couldn't concentrate the rest of Biology class. My mind just wouldn't leave the fact alone that they may as well be him.

The bell finally rang for us to move on to World History II. I packed my stuff up and me and Sarah left for 2nd period.

"Alright girl, spill."

"I will not be able to tell you the whole story before the next bell but I'll tell you it all at practice today. Anyways I saw someone from where I used to live, Paris."

"Your from Paris?!"

"Yes, but I'm already a citizen because my parents were American citizens."

"Girl, that's amazing I've always wanted to go to Paris, but there has not been anything on Paris for like four years, anyways back to the topic."

"Yea there has not and won't be, I'll explain that part later, but the boy I saw was actually my boyfriend before something happened and I came here. The thing is I don't know how he managed to get here.

"What do you mean you don't know how he got here? There are planes in Paris he could've easily gotten on one and flew here." Sarah said

"That's the thing... there are no more planes in Paris, not even a single trace of one."

"I'm sooo not following you, your really messing my brain up here." She said quizzically( I love that word)

"There is no cars,trains,bikes,planes, nothing... the only planes close to Paris were located in Greece. They were all burned to a crisp by radiation from a nuclear bomb. I thought I was the only survivor, but I guess there's one other person. If he remembers it's one thing, if he doesn't it's another." I said getting more sad with each word I spoke.

"Nuclear bomb? Wait that's why there's been nothing on Paris, even France itself. I'm sorry you had to face all that trauma of losing everyone you knew. But how did u manage to survive and do you have a assumption on how HE survived?" Sarah said putting emphasis on the word he.

"Yea, most of us were all evacuated to an underground terminal space. They basically put us in a frozen state of time. Most of us survived the blast, but everyone eventually died in the time we were frozen. I seriously thought i was the only survivor, but maybe
There was another terminal to hold other that couldn't fit so maybe there are others that are alive."

"That could be so, but what are you gonna do about him? Like are you gonna go up to him and talk to him to see if he remembers, or are you just gonna wait it out until he comes to you."

"Ill probably just wait it out for a few days, if he does not come talk to me by the end of the week ill go to him, but until then ill just wait it out." I said taking my seat in history.

"Okay, just give me a brief summary of what else you need to tell me."

"I guess,  if we walked slow enough i can tell you the whole thing. Ill give you like minor details that i left out at practice." I said a little louder trying to talk over the second to  last bell signaling that you were now almost tardy if not in class.

"Okay, well like i said I'm sorry you had to go through all that, especially at a younger age."

"Its in the past right now, i let go of most of it, it still hurts from time to time, but i don't let it get to me. I said opening my textbook

"That just proves how strong you are!" Sarah said taking out paper for the both of us.

The teacher finally walked in and our conversation was cut there.

So there is that chapter after idk how long i had almost all of it done with an exception of a few things and lines i just couldn't come up with a title for the chapter but anyways i figured one out so here is chapter 3 hope yall enjoyed.
