"Thank you for shopping at Revolution Records." I said to the lady who just bought a brand new vinyl. She flashed me a smile and made her way out. I hate my job here. I know it's awful to say, but it doesn't really matter to me. I walked toward the albums, sighing while I scanned over everything. My manager, Richard approached me. He had an odd smile on his face. 'What now?' I thought.
"Amirem! Hello!" He acted as if he didn't see me. "How's everything keeping up?" He asked with his arms behind his back.
"Fine." I replied with a sigh.

"Good..good." He said that about everything.

"You seem to be a little on edge lately. Is everything okay?" He put a CD back to it's natural column.
"I'm fine. Thanks for asking."
He looked at me, "I've just noticed that you've seemed a little tired lately." I looked back up at him.
"I don't mean to invade, but is there something going on?" I looked at him.

"Nothing, just a lot on my shoulders at the moment." I continued to rearrange items. He placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a sympathetic look.

"Just know, I'm always here if you need to talk." He quietly said. I lowkey moved out of his reach. I don't trust him.

I exited the store at nearly 9:00. I always closed up shop since I was the last one here. I strolled out to me car. The sun was just setting. It was July in Ohio so it doesn't get dark until late. Before I reached my car I heard a voice. I looked back and saw a figure walking toward me. I reached into my pocket for my knife, in case they tried anything. When they got closer I noticed it was a man.
"Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you; I'm in a bit of trouble, though." I peered at him.
"Uh, what's happened?" I asked.
"My car isn't starting. You see, I'm not from Ohio. And I, um, was wondering if you could help me by chance?" I stared for a minute, trying to figure him out.
"I, uh, yes I could." I swallowed. I was reluctant to help a stranger considering he could potentially harm me but I put myself in his shoes.
"Oh, thank god." He said. He led me to his car.
"I'm not out of gas, I filled up before I came in to town," He said. "I'm not sure what the problem would be." I told him to pop the lid.
"You got a napkin?" I asked. "Uh, yeah." He grabbed one and I checked his oil.
"Ah, see," I said. "You're all out." I showed him the rod.
"Oh I have some 10-W30 in my trunk." He grabbed it and I poured it in.
"You see, your engine is locked up," I explained. "Due to the fact that you have no oil."
"Oh well I don't know the first thing about cars so I wouldn't have known." It was an awkward moment of silence as I fixed his car. He broke the silence for a moment by asking me for my name. "Oh, I'm Amirem." I replied.

"Amirem? Wow, that's a unique name." I shrugged. I handed him the container and shut the lid.

"Well I have to get going. I hope you learned something." I smiled. He chuckled. "Uh yeah I did." I started walking back to my car.
"Thank you!" He called after me. "No problem." I said, I turned and made my way to the car.
