The End (2014)
I see nothing
But darkness,
As I crouch at the bottom
Of the abyss.
No hope,
Nor light of sun's soft glow.
For I am trapped
Too far below.
But then
An ethereal line of silk
For me to hold.
A spider's thread
So delicate, thin, that
I hesitate.
Will it hold my weight so bold?
Yet I'm tired of this
Nothingness,
Blackness,
Bleakness,
Weakness?
No.
I outstretch my hand
And grab a hold.
For I am human,
This my power,
That even here,
In darkest hour,
In deepest pit,
In blackest hole,
I will grab
This spider's thread,
And pull.
