The tale of two cousins

The date -finding answers-

"She is, but the puzzle is more powerful then I thought." He said

The two went for a walk to talk, Hathor really liked Yugi but she couldn't figure out why. She felt a connection to him but then she wasn't aware of what her ancient Egyptian past was. Soon the four ended up meeting at the museum as they walked in. Britt felt a drawn to something in there but she couldn't figure out why then she noticed Yami was feeling the same so she just followed. Hathor and Yugi joined them following behind them as the group found a room with four tablets.

Yami was looking at the tablet of the Pharaoh but the tablet of the Queen caught Britt's attention while Yugi and Hathor looked at the third tablet. Suddenly a woman walked in the room.

"Welcome My Pharaoh, My Queen and the Princess and Prince." Ishizu said

This made the four of them look at her when she addressed them in such a manor.

"Princess?" Hathor asked

"Prince?" Yugi said, a little freaked out

Yugi and Hathor looked at each other again then they looked at the tablet of the princess and prince. Hathor started putting things together in her mind.

"No way!" Hathor said

"So there's more to this mystery then the Pharaoh's memories being wiped?" Britt asked

Ishizu nod "yes, The Pharaoh is destined to help stop the world destruction again. He is destined to duel Kaiba once again and to have his Queen at his side helping him." Ishizu said

Britt looked at the tablet of the Queen again seeing that the image of the Queen did look like her.

"The one wearing the bracelet will be destined to stop world destruction...find the one who she desires most and help reunite the couples that have been separated in their pasts." Britt said reading from the tablet.

"It's much more then that but yes." Ishizu said

Hathor didn't say anything for the tablet of the Princess and Prince showed images of her past self and a boy who looked like Yugi. She read the tablet in her mind.

The princess shall reunite with her love, the pharaoh's brother the prince and once again help stop destruction. Hathor thought

"Brother?!" Hathor said

"Yes, the Pharaoh's brother was with the princess and was reborn." Ishizu said

Hathor and Britt felt overwhelmed with everything and they wanted to leave but knowing that they couldn't run from all this meant it was something they had to face.

"You all are destined to face the evil coming and enter into Kaiba's tournament." Ishizu said

"Great another tournament." Britt said

Hathor and Britt had their own worries when it came to Kaiba's tournament but they went to look at the last tablet. At first they didn't pay much attention but when they saw the two images they freaked out.

"That's..." Hathor started to say

"Nanaoko" Britt finished

Ishizu explained that the reason Yugi could separate from Yami was because of being the pharaoh's brother reincarnated.

It was a little later they were heading to see what the announcement for the tournament was going to be from Kaiba. Hathor looked around for a minute until they saw Mai Valentine coming their direction. Mai walked over to the girls and pulled them over to her.

"What are you girls doing?" IS this some kind of double date?" Mai asked

"Date?" Hathor asked

"No one is on a date, we're all just friends." Britt said covering it up

"Uh huh well you better snatch up a boyfriend fast girls because your well known duelists who any boy is gonna want." Mai said

Britt was shocked to hearing that but she didn't get to say anything as Mai let them go just as Kaiba showed up on a blimp announcing the tournament rules for them to compete in his tournament.

"Sign ups start tomorrow! Be there if you dare!" Kaiba said

Hathor and Britt knew even if they didn't want to they had to compete in the tournament.

When the tournament rules were done Yami and Yugi walked the girl's home, it seemed like everything was fine except the two guys led them separate directions. Making them be home at different times, when Yami had Britt home he led her to her door.

"Good night Britt." Yami said

"Night Yami." Britt said

Britt went to unlock the door and Yami was about to leave when he stopped knowing that he didn't feel that anything had changed In getting closer to her. So he took a chance as he turned around and had her look at him.

"Y-Yami." Britt said, as she was surprised

Britt saw him leaning in toward her and her thoughts went to the virtual world remembering that kiss. She blushed thinking what he was trying to do and she decided to go for it as she leaned in too. Their lips touched and she let go of the doorknob fully facing him. It was a couple minutes then she pulled away.

"Night Yami." She said then went inside and Yami left.

Hathor and Yugi arrived just as Yami was out of sight. Britt was smiling inside knowing that today made more sense to her then anything.

"Here we go Hathor." Yugi said

"Thanks Yugi. Sorry today was crazy." Hathor said

"It's ok Hathor." Yugi said

Yugi tried to kiss Hathor good night but she got nervous and moved to where he kissed her cheek.

"Sorry, good night Yugi." Hathor said going inside

"Night Hathor." Yugi said leaving
