Dear Harry, I know that at this time you have seen my memories. I also know that at this time I am dead. I want you to know that everything I did was for your mother. And I know that I am not your father, but I love your mother.
Everything I did was to protect you. I didn't expect you to be so much like your father. I expected you to be like Lily.
You were like your father reincarnated. Hair, glasses, personality. But your eyes. They were your mothers. Every time I looked at you, I tried so hard to look into your eyes and see you as Lily, but your were James.
I made a very big mistake when I was younger. I called your mother something that should not have. Your mother was always there to protect me and I stabbed her in the back.
I didn't think that I would never talk to her again but it was the biggest mistake of my life. I regret it so very much.
I know you want an apology. But I will give you none. I will not apologize for loving your mother. I will not apologize for being mean to you when you were so much like someone that hurt me. I am only sorry that it is my fault.
