Chapter 3• Talk you Down

Lydia's POV:

"You have me."

Those three words, made my heart beats fast. He's the first person that ever said that to me. I was literally in shock mode right now, wow.

"Lydia, are you okay?"

"Lydia?"

"Hey, Lydia!"

I think I'm blocking everyone from me. I may hear them, but I'm not seeing them. All I can see is white blur, everything around me is now gone.

No one would ever say to me 'you have me', let alone my parents are gone when I was little. Yeah, Justin is there and his parents but they are not enough. I mean, I know them by blood but when your parents are with you, it's different. Having a friend beside you is really fun and that person really makes you happy. I know 10 years ago, I have Ruby with me but she thinks that I only be friend with her because she's rich, and some kid at school told her that, until now she hates me, avoids me and even snobs me, you get my point. Through all of my life, I would always rely on Justin and his parents because no one would ever care for me. Then later years, Selena is now my girl best friend beside me, she would help me with dresses, girl stuff and with my dancing skills. Heck, she even helps me with singing! And then after a while, Niall came in.

Now, I know I only met Niall like yesterday but when we talk to each other, it's like every word he says always makes me feel warm, cozy and safe. I'm not saying that I like him, I do like him but as a friend. Yes, now I'm accepting Niall as a friend but if he wants to be my best friend he have to give me lots of chocolate. What? Can't a girl live life for a while?

"Lydia, what has gotten into you!?" Selena growled onto my face as she shakes me over and over again.

"What?" I idiotically asked. She sighed.

"You zoned off, like for 30 minutes!" She said and I was not surprised. Because I didn't accidentally think all of those things for nothing. I think I wanted to talk to a friend right now.

"Duh, you're right in front of me, you can talk to me." She obviously said and I looked at her strangely. Did I just say that out loud?

"Yes, you did and it creeps me out." I seriously need to stop this.

"You should." I glared at her and she chuckles. I noticed that me and Selena were the only ones in the living room, where are the other two?

"Come on, the two 'boys' are in the kitchen cooking dinner for us." She grabs my hand and we walked together to the kitchen.

"Did you just quoted boys?" I asked and we are nearing the kitchen.

"Yep."

"Are you saying that they're gay?" We stopped walking and stared to each other. Then we bursted in laughing, we continued walking while still laughing and right now in the kitchen.

The two boys looked at us weirdly, "What's up with you two?" Justin asks as he turned to us while mixing something in the huge pot on the stove.

"Nothing!" I quickly said and Selena nodded while smiling.

"No, that can't be nothing. You two were smiling like a serial killer and you were laughing like there's no tomorrow!" Justin sasses and I roll my eyes.

"Don't you dare even sass me." Selena sass while making a letter z with her fingers. I looked at Justin.

"Oh! You just got schooled son!" I teased and he glares at me. Niall laughs as he waited for the...noodles to cook? I walked over to Niall and peeks to his pot full of noodles and they are still not yet ready. I sighed.
