Valka ran through the village, lugging the giant sword behind her. Dragons swooped overhead and fire rained down from all over in the sky.
"Stoik!" Valka yelled, "You forgot your sword!" She heaved the weapon at her husband as he turned to look at her. He caught the sword and the two of them ran through the village, towards their house.
When the house came into veiw, Valka shrieked and sprinted towards it. The reason: a dragon, with four huge wings was digging into their house. She burst through the door with Stoik at her heels to see the massive dragon approach the two wooden cribs in the corner of the room. Valka shrieked again and threw a sword at the dragon. She missed, but startled the dragon. It turned it's head toward her, then snatched the child out of the crib on the left, the daughter, and jumped into the sky.
"Julie!" Both Stoik and Valka stared, dumbfounded, as their daughter was carried off. Then, they remembered Hiccup, and rushed over to see if their son was alright. He was, but he had a small scratch on his chin, courtesy of the dragon who'd taken his sister.
