Now we moved into the second auditorium for awards. I was so stressed I felt like I was going to faint! I sat down with the rest of my team (other team members had solos). They announced third place to a girl on my team. Second place went to Miya, another team member. My stomach dropped; they were clearly better than me. I didn't place...
"And first place goes to....Entry number 206! Delilah, with Angel!" The announcer said proudly.
I jumped in place...Me? Me! I WON FIRST PLACE!!! I took a deep breath, stood up, and walked to center stage. Everyone was applauding, and I saw my mom and my coach. They were as happy as I was! I claimed my three-layer-trophy. My dreams came true.
