I open my eyes to see the little light coming in from the very small barred window. I've been in this dump for 3 and a half years and I'm supposed to be getting out today or tomorrow. I made some friends, who I will always remember. I'm really excited to see Delany, Riley and Daniel. Okay even a bit of Ryder. If they're still there. You think they would stay for 3 1/2 years? My conscience tells me. I sigh and I'm probably right. They won't even remember me.

I get up and go to the bathroom before the officer opens my cell for me to have a 5 minute shower. Yes, only 5 minutes. The water shuts off after that.

After my shower I am put back into my cell, what I'm in for doesn't allow me to have visitors or have any time to go do shit around with my friends.

"Open cell 228." I hear a women's voice call. At that moment the cell door opens and a black haired women walks in a pencil skirt with a black blazer and a white under shirt. She looks about mid 30's.

"Hello, Kat. I'm Diane. Your going to be living with me and going back to your old school. You will see your little sister Delany 3 times a week. That's what your mother told me." She pauses and looks on a iPad. She looks up at me and smiles "ready to go home?" She asks. I nod and she hands me a bag with a black tank top with black skinny jeans.

I quickly change and walk out with Diane. The officer hands me a bag with everything I had with me the day I got arrested. My iPhone 5s, my wallet and a necklace that is the same as my sister Delanys. I put it on and take a deep breathe while sticking my stuff in my pockets.

The front door opens and I finally take a step outside and smile. I turn to Diane who is watching me with a big grin on her face. "Ready to go?" She asks me. I nod and we head to a red ford fusion. I get in and we make our way into a familiar neighborhood. We pull to a stop outside of a 2 story large white house with a big tree in the middle of the front yard. We walk to the doorstep and she unlocks the house. When we step inside I'm overwhelmed with nervousness and excitement.

Diane calls down 2 other people. Her twin son and daughter. Lila and Leon. They seemed quite scared of me. Diane told me I would start school tomorrow. So I went with Leon and Lila to the room that's supposed to be mine. Its pretty big, it has a queen size bed in the middle with a bay window and a desk on the other side along with 2 dressers and a night stand by the bed. There was 3 garbage bags filled with my old clothes. Which would probably still fit. I put it all away and plugged my phone in to charge. I changed into some black short shirts and a white tank too with my leather jacket. I told Diane I'm going for a walk, I walked to a old park I used to go to and sat down on the bench.

I sat for about a hour before walking back. I needed some time to think how everyone will think once me, a criminal who just got out if Juivie can handle high school.

Once I got back it was 6 and we all ate together and had some fun watching movies. They weren't too bad but they still seemed scared of me. In Juvie I got told I have anger problems. I understood so I guess that's why there scared. At 10 I decided to go to bed. Since school started at 9 I would wake up at 7:30 have a shower and pick a outfit. I walk to my room and set a alarm for 7:30. I take off my jacket so I'm in my shirts and tank top and head to bed. My last thought before I washed into darkness was Ryder.
