This is a short story about Kili, Fili, Thorin, Balin, and the rest of the dwarves of Erabor. Before they returned to their home.

It's a short story about the simple things in their lives, fighting thunder storms, and the storms of separation

Thorin: "eah! Am I the only one who can't see in this storm?"

Fili chuckled as his brother punched their uncles arm.

Kili: "are we more majestic than you!?" Kili shouted against the wind.

Thorin: "No! Come on! We need to get shelter!" Thorin hollered

Kili and Fili then looked at each other and shruged. They laughed as they walked backwards -facing the wind- as the rest of the dwarves we facing away from it.

"Hey!" Fili shouted, "look there's a cave over there!"

"Where?" Thorin asked quickly

"Oh! Only two mountains over then through a marsh!" Fili laughed at what he said

THORIN: "ugh! Well will never find some where to rest!" Then he continued on his way

There was only two ponies remaining, one with all of the belongings, the other with only a few (incase if someone was hurt)

Kili laughed at his brother, and suddenly stopped in his tracks (walking and talking) then looked at the paint pony, ran to it and pulled of the few bags.

Thorin: "what do you think your doing!?" He yelled at his nephew

Without answering, Kili looked back at Fili while he was on the pony and said, " I'll be back in a few short minutes brother"

Fili looked lost. As if the fact his brother was leaving was like him being dropped into a black hole.

Kili gave the pony a hard kick, and it took off. He ran the perimeter of the grassy area surrounding the mountain.

"There! " he said to himself. "Big enough for us all and the ponies" he carefully searched the cave. "Seams safe to me. What do you think, Sky?" He asked the pony.

Sky whinnied in reply. Kili then knew it was safe, for the pony usually acted strange if something wasn't safe.

The dwarf then ran a steady lope back

Fili: "Thorin?'

Thorin: "yes Fili?"

Fili: why is it taking so long for Kili To return?

Thorin: '

give him a minute, Fili, I'm sure he's fine" Thorin reassured his nephew.

Just then Kili and Sky loped over the hill. Kili hopped of the pony, and patted it on the shoulder. "Good boy!" Kili re-packed the pony and greeted his brother. Fili had never been so relived to see his brothers face

Fili: "Kili... " he whispered

Kili was so pleased with himself, that he didn't wind up in some sort of trouble where he could never see his brother again

Kili: Thorin, there's a safe cave a short Ponies ride down the left side of this field"

Thorin:" Kili, we only have two ponies,it will be an all day walk to the cave"

Fili: "Then we'll walk" Fili set his hand on his brothers right shoulder.

Kili smiled at his brother. He thought, "how lucky I am to have a brother like him..."
