-Rachel's pov-
I had stayed over at my boyfriend Harley's house last night. He's still asleep in his bed, I was looking at myself in the mirror wondering how he could like me. I have cuts all over my stomach, thighs, and wrists. I have huge thighs, a big gut, and large hips. That wouldn't be so bad if my face was pretty but it's not. My nose is wide, my eyes are small, my lips are thin, and I have bad acne. So I'm not sure why Harley is even with me. He usually goes for the hot, out going, bad girls that match his personality. But we have been together for almost a year now and I can't understand why. He came up and put his strong arms around my waist. "Whatcha thinking about?" "I'm thinking about why you're even with me, I'm so ugly, fat, and my..." He stopped me "come on don't do this again you know you're beautiful." "Whatever I have to go. Bye babe." I had no where to go I just didn't want for him to offer me food, too late. "Why don't you eat some breakfast before you go?" "No I'm not hungry." I lied I'm starving but I need to loose weight. "You didn't eat dinner last night either, come to think of it I've never seen you eat, what are you anorexic?" I knew he meant it as a joke but that one hit me. I sat on his bed and started to cry. "What's wrong?" He said as he sat down next to me and put his hand on my thigh. "I don't know...I don't eat...I know it's a problem but I don't know if I am or not..." "How long has this been going on for?" "It started when I was around thirteen so four years. " He teared up, I've never seen him cry before I guess there's a first time for everything. "Rach...why, you're so skinny." "I don't think so...I look in the mirror and all I see is fat..." He wiped his tears and sat up. "How much do you weigh?" I wish he hadn't asked me that, I hate when people ask me that. "I-I don't know...around 80lbs? I haven't weighed myself in a while." That was a lie, I weigh myself every day, I'm 74.2lbs. "Come here." He picked me up and carried me to his bathroom. "Here weigh yourself." I hesitantly stepped on the scale, it read 68.9lbs. "I lost weight!" I exclaimed with excitement. I looked over to Harley with a big smile on my face only to see he was crying again. "Go to the damn car." I jumped back, he didn't yell but the tone of his voice...he had never used it with me and it was...terrifying. I quickly walked to the car and waited for him patiently but nervously. Once he got in I sat there, wondering where we were going until he pulled into the McDonald's drive through and he ordered a bunch of food. "Eat." he demanded. "I don't want to, I just lost weight, I don't want to gain the weight back." I snapped back. "I TOLD YOU TO FUCKING EAT. NOW EAT." He screamed at me, I began to get tears in my eyes and slowly open the packaging for a burger and quickly shove it down along with some fries. But I hadn't eaten in a week and I ate way too fast. My body quickly rejected the food and I was running out of the car to the nearest bush. I came back after what felt like throwing my guts up. Harley looked extremely angry. "WHAT THE HELL?" he screamed. "My body wasn't used to that much food especially not all that food at once." I quivered out. He just shook his head and backed up. "I'm getting you help, just drink your fucking milk shake." "Harley I don't need any fucking help." "YES YOU DO. I CAN'T FUCKING HANDLE YOUR SHIT ON MY OWN DAMN IT." "IT'S NOT EVEN YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM, IT'S MINE JACK ASS, HOW FUCKING HEARTLESS ARE Y-YOU?" I choked on the last word as I began sobbing, he just looked at me tears of his own running down his face. "Rachel...I just meant that I have no idea how to help you or protect you and it scares me...you're the most important thing in my life...I can't lose you. I love you." He picked me up out of the car and signed me into a hospital. Right before he left I stopped him. "Harley..." he quickly rushed back over to me "I love you too...thank you." He kissed my forehead and whispered "anytime baby girl" and left.
