My Internet Girlfriend ~ Lapidot

Chapter 1: Awkward

Peridot walked down the crowded halls of her apartment. The sent of new dorms. The college's dorms she was staying at were brand new, only recently been finished with it's constitution work. The blonde tingled with excitement at the thought of starting college next week. Peridot stopped as she reached her new home for the rest of her time at her new school. She put a box she'd been carrying on the floor and began to fiddled with her keys, opening the door quietly.

"Hello? Are you my roomate?" Called a voice. When Peridot fully opened her dorms door she saw two beds. She saw two wardrobes, and two desks. Peridot kicked her box into her room. She also noticed a girl sitting on the right bed leaving the left one for Peridot.

"Hi my names Lapis." Called the voice again. Peridot finally gave her attention to the girl with... Blue hair? She also noticed the girl had blue eyes and was wearing a blue t shirt and some dark blue leggings. She could instantly tell that her new roommate loved the colour blue. The stranger was reading a magazine of some sort, which she had put down to look at her new roommate.

"I'm Peridot." said  the blonde as she picked her box up and walked into the room closing the door behind her and placing her things on the empty desk claiming it as hers. Lapis cleared her throat and held out her hand.

"I hope we can be friends." She smiled  at the stranger next to her. Peridot however glaced down at the girls hand and then back up at the girls face. She refused to shake her hand and stayed quiet instead.

Maybe if I don't say anything she'll leave me alone.

"...Right..." Said Lapis awkwardly letting her arm fall freely beside her. Lapis turned her attention back to the magazine, picking it up and covering it over her face. She wanted her roommate to be fun, outgoing and social. But instead she got the complete opposite.

Peridot wanted to let out a sigh but didn't. Me be friends with someone like her? Ha no. Peridot pulled out her phone and began to text her only friend _Blue22Oceans_. She sat down on her bed and began to text.

That. Annoying. Robot. 2000: Hey how's life?

_Blue22Oceans_: Sad, my roommate shunned me!

That. Annoying. Robot. 2000: lol, wanna play on battle mode?

_Blue22Oceans_: yeah okay :)

Peridot closed down the message and began to battle _Blue22Oceans_ she smiled knowing that she'd win, but her friend wouldn't mind at all.

Peridot smiled _Blue22Oceans_ is the only friend I'll ever need.

However Peridot didn't notice that Lapis' phone buzzed as soon as the text message sent.
