"Daniel... Daniel please answer me" a ominous voice echoes "Who's there? Show yourself!" As Daniel looked around he couldn't see anything, just darkness for miles. "You may not know it yet, but you will be part of something bigger than what you think you're meant for," Daniel looks around and he still sees nothing, but darkness. "Find me, look for me, I will be here. Do this and you will be saved." Daniel started to get confused, "saved from what I don't need saving I'm perfectly fine at the camp." Daniel started to hear something coming from his right side. "Look who ever you are I will find you even if I can't really see you or actually know who you are."He turns and starts to walk in that direction, "my name is not your concern, nor does it matter to what I need you to do." With each step Daniel takes he hears a snap hears a snap. "Wait why should I trust you I don't even know you. For all I know You could be a figment of my imagination." Before Daniel could take another step the voice interrupts him, "if you don't trust me you damn every living soul in your so called 'camp.'" Daniel stopped in his tracks to ponder what the voice just said. "You shall do this task that I have laid out for you. It is quite a simple task. if you follow through it will become darker and more complex than you ever thought finding someone could be." Daniel started starring into the darkness as if he were disappointed, "I don't know exactly where you are, but I'm looking at you like you are crazy." The voice got more intense and angrier than before. "I'm over here you babbling idiot!" The voice said from behind Daniel, "if you do not come to me for your quest this will happen to everyone you know and more!" suddenly light has taken over the darkness and Daniel was finally able to see where he was, but he rather it remain dark because he didn't like what he saw. Daniel began to feel sick looking down, he was standing on skeletons, bones, and skulls, but that wasn't what scariest thing to him though. There was a skeleton standing up it was wearing a raggedy dress covered in holes and it had one glass eyeball. Just as Daniel was taking it all in, the glass eyeball pointed directly back at him and he fell backward. He didn't know what emotion to feel because all of them were rushing through his head. The skeleton started to walk towards Daniel very slowly as if it were slowly limping. it opened its mouth and started screeching words. "FIND ME, LOOK FOR ME AT THE HIGH ROCK IN THE FORREST WHEN THE FULL MOON IS UP IN THE SKY, YOU CAN SAVE THESE PEOPLE!" The skeleton was moving faster and faster with each word spoken. All Daniel could do was stand in horror and watch, he was frozen in terror looking on at the skeleton. "YOU WILL NEED AN OBJECT, AN OBJECT OF POWER, TO GUIDE YOU THERE," as the skeleton said that Daniel noticed an coin in its hand. It was gold with marking on them he couldn't make out. "TAKE THIS YOU WILL NEED TO USE IT TO FIND ME, USE IT TO FIND THE HIGH ROCK I WILL BE WAITING!" Now the skeleton is inches away from Daniel no longer needing to yell and for some reason he still can't move he just stood there looking into the glass eye. "Do you accept?" It took Daniel a second to respond, but it came out in the wimpiest way. "I... I...Do," the skeleton looked back as if it were smiling a very cold and empty smile. "Good... Good... It's time to wake up Daniel," he sat up straight in his bed. Looking around he noticed he was back in his bunk at camp. 'It was all just a dream a crazy, crazy dream," Daniel began to look around and noticed Some of his bunk mates were awake so he decided to walk around and visit with everyone. Before he could do that he had to get ready change clothes and brush his teeth, the normal stuff. So he pulled off the covers and found something shiny under the blankets. A coin, just then Daniel gets a headache as he remembers something from his dream 'YOU WILL NEED AN OBJECT, AN OBJECT OF POWER' It was the coin that the skeleton was carrying. Did he dare to go near that thing. He couldn't resist, so he reached down and Picked up the coin. On one side it a picture of a lion and on the other side the number 365.
He slipped the coin in his pj pocket and went to get ready for that day. He got up and began to walk to the bathroom and knocked on the door. *knock* *knock* *knock*. "Get lost!" Daniel should have known Clarence was in the bathroom. "How long have You been in the bathroom Clarence?" Clarence snapped back "it doesn't matter how long I've been in here I'll still be in here after you've asked!" Daniel sat down next to the door knowing that it'll be a little while until he gets out. Daniel pulled out the coin and started looking at it. 'I'm pretty sure I know what it means.' Daniel looks back at the white door to the bathroom. "I was just wondering," to him it seemed that hours have gone by, as Daniel hears nothing going on in the bathroom, but someone showering. He knows if he asked him to hurry up he'll just take longer. Finally Clarence came out of the bathroom, "it's all yours, dweeb." Daniel glared at Clarence, "I would say thanks." Daniel walked in the bathroom and of course Clarence used all the hot water, so he was stuck with milk warm water. he finally got a chance to freshen up, so he put on jeans and a green t-shirt that had the words cabin lion across the middle. Now that he was done changing clothes. Daniel went outside to see that nearly everyone is awake, so he went to talk to his friend Paul. Paul was sitting on the bed talking to Billy his little brother. "Hey Paul!" Daniel started to approach the brothers "oh, hello Daniel." The brothers continued to talk about Billy's birthday coming up next week "Can you believe it Daniel I'm going to be eight!" Billy said with excitement, "I cannot believe it, you'll be six years younger than Paul and I," Daniel said to Billy. "The funny thing is that his birthday is going to be on the same day he will be promoted from an apprentice to a member," Paul added in. "Shut up Paul, some people are trying too sleep." Said Greg the guy in the bunk next to Billy's bed, "no one cares about your stupid little brother's promotion," so Billy got up walked over to Greg and hit him in the head. Greg sprang up from the bed and glared at Billy "Why you little..." Greg raised his fists about to hit Billy, but was stopped by Paul and he intervened "now, now let's not get violent, save it for today's game." Greg glared at Billy for a second and answered with "just don't wake me up again," with that he went back to sleep. "Well I'm going to walk around the camp, see you later," Daniel got up from the bed and started to walk towards the door, but he was stopped by his best friend Conner. "You don't think that you could just leave without saying hello to your best friend?" Daniel stopped for a second and said "hello," Conner looked at Him for a second and laughed. "You've earned my trust again!" Conner said while laughing. "You wanna come with me and take a stroll around the camp?" Daniel asked, "I would be honored." Daniel and Conner went outside and absorbed the morning light. Going down the steps of the cabin, Daniel looked around and saw all the other cabins, The wolf cabin, the deer cabin the bear cabin, and his the lion cabin. 'It sucks being in the worst cabin it would have been cooler if I got accepted into wolf cabin or bear cabin' Daniel thought to himself. Just then Conner grinned at something over at the deer cabin. "Look at those chicks over at the deer cabin." Conner whispered to Daniel. Daniel looked over to his right and saw Jenna Hearts, one of the so called popular kids at camp. She has dated nearly everyone in wolf cabin, so Daniel just looked over there in disgust. "I don't really care for those heartless idiots," Conner just stared at Daniel blankly at Daniel then back at Jenna, "you have to admit they are really hot," Conner said. 'Hot? Seriously Conner?' Daniel said in his head. "I think that a bad attitude can ruin a pretty face," Conner just looked at Daniel like he was lying, "what ever man you would go out with Jenna." Daniel shook his head "no I won't, I like someone else." Conner just rolls his eyes at Daniel, "you keep on talking about this girl, but you never told me who she is! Come on I'm you friend... tell me." Daniel paused for a second and decided to answer, but before he could a voice on a microphone interrupted him. "GATHER AROUND, GATHER AROUND!" On the center stage there was MR. Parker the head of camp. People started swarming around the stage to see which game is going to played at today's weekly battle arena. "Finally we're going to play the game. Now if Mr. Parker will say what we're doing." Conner whispered to Daniel. "TODAY WE HAVE OUR WEEKLY GAME... THE GAME WE'LL BE PLAYING IS BATTLEGROUND!" Everyone started cheering because that is everyone's favorite game. "SILENCE!" The cheer died down suddenly, because no one wants to get on MR. Parker's bad side, "CABIN WOLF AND CABIN BEAR YOU WILL BE TEAM ALPHA! CABIN DEER AND CABIN LION YOU WILL BE TEAM OMEGA!" The crowd started to raise the volume, discovering the new alliances formed for battleground. "SILENCE!" The sound died again, "IN OTHER NEWS THERE WILL BE A NEW CAMPER JOINING US. SENSE THEY NEED THE FIREPOWER! THE NEW CAMPER WILL BE JOINING THE LION CABIN. HIS NAME IS LUIS CARTER AND HIS MENTOR WILL BE DANIEL LOUINGTON!" Everyone turned at Daniel. Staring at him for what seemed like a minute MR. Parker was starting to get annoyed. "THAT MEANS GO TO THE PICK UP AREA DANIEL AND MENTOR HIM, HOW COULD I BE EVEN MORE CLEAR!" Some of the people in the crowd giggled at what MR. Parker said, but Daniel just dropped his head and headed for the entrance. "NOW LETS GET BACK ON THE TOPIC BATTLEGROUND!" MR.Parker's voice started to fade as Daniel walked away. 'I hate how MR. Parker is some times he can be just so frustrating' Daniel was thinking about many ways to hate MR.Parker As he neared the front, where the pick up area is. he saw a young scrawny kid and thought to himself 'he is going to die here.'
