Bad Seed

Aged too Fast

There was a 12 year old girl

who had the fire

burning inside her eyes

But then when her mama

introduced her to the world

where nobody'd wanna go

At that moment

She took the invitation from

her mama's hand

The girl drowned into the new world

And she EXPLORED...

The flames that were alive

inside her eyes quickly died

When my eyes rolled back

to the inside of my head

I saw my whole

nineteen years flew by

but there was nothing -

- my childhood memories were

unfamiliar to me

I remembered only

a piece of this and there

I turned my attention to

the drugs that were pushed

into my body;

- I thought it'd be okay

I'd had smoked, popped, snorted,

and swallowed;

All but how much I'd had cherished them!

My unfaithful path that

I was straying on

with no knowledge about

the GOD

My lost faith was restored, the clouds

that were blinding me faded away

and a new path that revealed me

to the LORD

He welcomed me home by

HIS words and

HIS love!
