Lon'qu didn't know what it was about her. It certainly wasn't how closely she would stand next to him when they would exchange words. Nor was it how every time they encountered one another, it would result in her pelting him with figs full force. It couldn't be how relentlessly she chased him with said figs, never failing to hit the Swordsmaster with at least one. All Lon'qu knew was that every time he saw Robin, his heart would practically pound out of his chest. More so than with other females. The Feroxi had been carefully assessing his feelings towards his comrade for at least a few months, yet he never could come to any conclusion. In fact, he might not have noticed his constant blush at all if it hadn't been for Gaius' remarks about how intently Lon'qu avoided the silver-haired woman's gaze. Each time this would occur, Lon'qu would choke on his water and abruptly excuse himself from the dining hall, making the uncommunicative male's affection painfully obvious to his fellow Shepards. It almost seemed the whole camp knew, save he and Robin, who was extremely dense when it came to reading emotions. One particular evening, following a battle with The Mad King, Gaius had exclaimed how uterly flustered Lon'qu had become when Robin complimented his fighting stance. Like usual, the typically stern man sprinted away from the table. However, this time, Gaius decided to follow him. Lon'qu didn't pay attention to where he was going, at that moment his only instinct was to get away from everyone. With only that in mind, he ran with Gaius swiftly following. It seemed like an eternity before Lon'qu stopped, but as soon as he did, he became aware of Gaius' presence behind him. "What do you want now?" sighed Lon'qu, not even bothering to turn towards his trickster ally. "Look Mr. Super Swordsman, I didn't mean to offend you or anything" replied Gaius, unwrapping a fresh lollipop "I just don't get how you can't see how completely in love you are with her! Lord knows everyone else can." The newly dubbed 'Mr. Super Swordsman' was about to retaliate when he paused, stunned at Gaius' conclusion. He had long since forgotten about caring for a woman in that way, thanks to his crippling phobia. Yet, his memories of Robin flooded his mind all at once. Her tender smile, the way she would glance at him occasionally, her determination not only on the battlefield but in strengthening her relationships with comrades. Her eyes, her laugh, the cheerful bounce in her step, all these small things he had come to notice about her. Finally, Lon'qu chuckled slightly, "Love... I guess you could call it that..."
