You stood at the train station with your older brother, Cedric, who was now in his fourth year while you were stuck in your first year. "When can we get on the train?" you whined. You were an impatient one, never wanting to stop the action. But that was how most kids were back then. "We could get on right now but I just thought I would torture you a bit," Cedric chuckled while you, on the other hand, frowned.

Cedric was a Hufflepuff. He was kind, caring, and not to mention devoted to his work and family. You wanted nothing more than to follow in his footsteps but you knew that your curiosity and ambition would step in the way of that.

You kicked yourself out of your haunting thoughts of which house you wanted to be in, more importantly, which you would be in. Grabbing Cedric's cloak sleeve, you walked to the train with all of your force put into pulling your brother. As soon as you stepped on the bustling train, Cedric left to his older friends with a simple 'Be careful'.

As you sifted through the compartments one of them happened to catch your eye. The compartment consisted of two obviously overweight boys and another boy. This boy, unlike the other boys, looked healthy with platinum blonde hair that was slicked back with a pair of stormy blue eyes to match. He looked like an angel. Literally. His characteristics perfectly satisfied the physic of an angel.

Gathering up the courage, you opened the door and peeked inside. All of the chatter which once surrounded the tiny area was gone as all heads turned towards you. You were definitely not used to the attention, so a light shade of pink decided to work it's way onto your face. "Uh, hello. Would you mind if I sat with you?" you said shyly. You were very outgoing and bossy to your brother. But that was your brother, someone you've known your entire life and not to mention he didn't care about you always wanting to be in control. These were three complete strangers.

The blonde one smirked. A fire went up in your head that, in a nutshell, said, 'Who the hell does he think he is?' "Sure. You look decent enough," the blonde one spoke. You sat down beside him and he continued. "I'm Draco Malfoy. And these two goons are Crabbe and Goyle," he said with a gesture towards the two boys that were now eating chocolate frogs by the pound. "Very nice to meet you. I'm Y/N Diggory," you returned with the same.. manners? You didn't really consider what he said referencing the two boys to be manners.

"So, Diggory. What house do you plan on entering?" he asked. Uh oh. This is the same question that's been racing through your head for a year. How would it even be remotely possible to come up with an answer so suddenly? "I guess whatever the Sorting Hat thinks will be best for my destiny. But if I had to choose right now I would say Ravenclaw or Slytherin," you predicted. Yes, it was basically a prediction based on what you thought of yourself. And you were not lying either. Hufflepuff was a bit to nice for you and Gryffindor.. well.. it was Gryffindor and you didn't like it.

"Interesting. I'm not to keen on Ravenclaws but I can look past it. Let's make a deal. If you get into Slytherin I will take you under my wing which basically promises everything you need to survive the next seven years. But if you get into Ravenclaw or any other house I'll make your seven years a complete hell," he offered with his hand out. You thought about it for a minute then shook his hand. What could a little blonde twerp do?

"So it's settled. Remember this deal because there is no calling it off. Diggory," he said with a smirk.
