"It's nice to meet you."

She's actually really pretty and has a great smile. How did she get stuck with someone like Jack?

Throughout the drive to the ice skating place, I talked to Madison. I'm glad that she was so friendly and outgoing, because if she wasn't I would be sitting there like the awkward potato I am.

We finally get to the rank and rent our shoes and lockers. As we put our ice skates on, Nick laughs at my small feet.

"Your feet are small." Nick says, stating the obvious.

"Wow, I never noticed." I say, in a sarcastic tone.

"Can I tell you something?" He asks.

"No."

"Ok so I'm actually afraid of ice skating." He quietly says so no one else could hear.

"Do you not understand what the word 'no' means?" I asked, totally ignoring what he just said.

Nick took my hand and pulled me into the rank. He was guiding me to the middle as I let go of his hand. He lost balance and fell straight on his ass. I felt bad for laughing so hard, to the point where I couldn't help him up.

"Can you help me out here?" He begs.

"Sure, if you call me your queen." I say, with a smirk.

"Luna Miller is my one and only queen!"

I could've left him there. I was feeling extra evil tonight, but I didn't.

For the rest of the night we ice skated until we couldn't feel our feet. Nick somehow convinced me into letting him hold me up in the air while he skates, just like in the movies. The only problem was, he dropped me five seconds later.

"Do you want a hot chocolate?" He asks, while we take off our ice skates and put our shoes on.

"Sure" I say, handing him money.

"It's on me."

A few minutes later, Nick comes back to where I was sitting and hands me my hot chocolate.

"I'm not really the type of person who expresses her emotions a lot, but I gotta tell you something." I say.

"I'm listening."

"You are such a good friend and I'm just so thankful I met you. I know we've only known each other for a few months, but if feels like I've known you my whole life. What I'm trying to say is, I love-"

There was a pause, as I sneezed.

"I love our friendship!" I say, with a cheesy smile.

Nick's face was absolutely priceless. Did he really think I would tell him I love him that easily?

"I love our friendship too." Nick says, with a small grin.

You could feel the awkwardness and I loved it.

The whole car ride to my place was silent. Jack stopped his car in front of my house and Nick walked me out. When we got outside of my door, Nick finally said something.

"I had a lot of fun."

"Me too" I say, looking down at my feet.

Nick placed his hand on my chin and brought my face up to where our eyes met. I slowly move my face closer to his, licking my lips because they were 'dry'. We looked into each other's eyes, until Nick looked down at my lips. He was going to kiss me. Before he could place his lips on mine, I brought my hand to his cheek.

"You have an eyelash." I say, taking it away.

You could see the disappointment in his face. I was a little disappointed too. I wouldn't mind kissing him, but I wasn't going to make it that easy.

There was a honk coming from Jack's car, indicating that we should hurry up.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He says, placing a soft kiss on my cheek and walking away.
