He stared at me. Blue eyes alight with a fire that I had never seen before. His blade gripped tightly in his hand, robes swirling around him. Black hair gently waving in the wind. I reached out to him and he lifted his his hand. I screamed, and he held the blade to my neck. The blade fell, suddenly. I looked behind him, and saw nothing but black smoke.

LILLY'S POV

I was shoved back to reality. I rubbed my temples. I didn't know what that dream even meant. But I did know I had to get ready for school. I dragged myself out of bed so I could shower.

I didn't take long to get ready. And I was out the door within 20 minutes. Hopping into my car, I drove to school. Blasting my favourite song: Polaroid by Imagine Dragons, I was happy. As soon as I had arrived at school, I walked through the doors and headed to my locker.

I popped my headphones into my ears, and spun my combo quickly. Grabbing my Science textbook, I closed my door, and came face to face with a boy. I squeaked, and sighed. " Haynes." I said with a sigh " Why are you here? " I asked in confusion. He just gave a small smile, and stared down at me. " Miss me, Lilly pad? " he asked. I scowled. I hated that nickname. He had given it to me as a kid, and it stuck.

I glanced at Haynes. His brown hair flopped into his green eyes, and his 6'4 frame fell into step beside me. " What class do you have next?" I asked. He pointed to the Gym, and waved goodbye to me. I sighed, and slid into the Science room.

The teacher, Mr. Barnes, announced that we had a new student. A few girls in the back of the room giggled. And a tall frame walked in. It was Rayne. Why was he here? His black hair was still as short as I remembered, and his icy blue eyes scanned the room. He found me, and I scowled as the teacher put him beside me.

Lillian. He remained even faced, and I glared at him. He was in my mind again. Get out, Rayne. I thought angrily. The corner of his mouth quirked up into a small smile. And I melted a little. Why are you here? I thought to him.

He turned to me. Smile gone, and face serious. Don't you see, Lillian? I was confused. And I looked at him, blinking.

We're here to bring you back.
