I thought he was really the one for me,

I thought he opened my heart, he was the key.

I thought he fell deeply in love with me,

Quick and fast, just like a fast buzzing bee.

I thought he was one in a million,

Like a single drop of water in the deep blue sea.

I thought he was the one, I thought he was my cup of tea.

I thought he truly was the one, he was like the only guy i could see.

I thought that he was the true one, we connected properly, just like a lock and key.

I thought he was going to be my future husband, that he was finally going to drop onto one knee.

I thought i was going to hear him speak the words "Will you marry me?"

I thought we were going to get together, like he and she.

I thought that we were made for each other, him and me.
