I looked around. All I could see was barren land and of course, the edge. Not a single person in sight. Good.
A thousand thoughts created a howling storm inside of me.
'You have to do it.'
'But why me?'
'Because you're brave.'
'What if I'm not though?'
"SHUT UP!", I yelled out loud, realising right after that there was no one around and the voices were just in my head.
I closed my eyes ran towards the edge of the cliff, the wind whistling in my ears. I needed to do this. I needed to find them. And I needed to protect them. The edge was a mere few feet away now. I ran and ran. And then, I jumped.
