Inside the small house, where a lady and and a young woman lived .....
"Mom? What is this?" Juliane asked and showed her mom the uncommon book she just found from the bookshelf.
"W-where'd you get that?" her mom asked back and took the book from Juliane's hands.
"Uh-- What is that? I tried to read it but can't understand what's written on it. And .. and I felt weird the moment I touched it. It's like it wanted me." Juliane exclaimed in perplexity.
Her mother ignored what she just said and rushed through her room and locked herself inside. Juliane stared nowhere and confused.
Soon as she composed herself she rushed back to her room. She opened her laptop and and tried to search some informations about the book. But she got nothing. She sighed in frustration and tumbled on her bed.
'what's with the book?' she asked in her mind thinking how nervous her mother is when she showed her the book.
"Juliane?" her mom suddenly calls her from downstairs.
"Yes!" she replied as she stood up and run through her mom.
"What are you doing?" her mom asked.
"Uh-- nothing mom. Just doing some research for our homeworks" she explained.
"Ok. By the way, your aunt called me, said she needs a little talk with me. I'm going to visit her and be back soon. Don't mess around okay?" her mom kissed her on the forehead before she leaves.
As soon as her mom shuts the door she walks towards the window to check if her mom's gone to her way.
When she saw her mom gets in a cab she instantly ran through her mother's room.
And when she gets in she was stunned for a couple of minutes. Thinking how mad her mother can be when she finds out she sneaked in her room to get the book.
"But why will she get that angry? It's just an old book" she murmured to herself. So she instantly browse in her mom's bookshelf hoping to see the book.
She browsed every book in the shelf but she didn't saw the book that she was looking for.
'Did she took the book with her?' she thought and sighed in defeat.
'But what if not? Maybe she kept it somewhere else' in her second thought she needs to keep looking. She wanted to know why that book gives her the feeling of enchantment.
She circle her eyes around the room. Thinking for some places where her mom could possibly keep it.
She looked inside the cabinets, on and under her mother's office desk but she sees nothing.
Juliane got a bit tired and already loosing hope. She sat down on her mom's bed and let out a hard sigh.
Her eyes widen as her impulse abruptly blows her.
'or under the bed' she thought with full of excitement.
She kneeled down the floor and bent her body forward 'till her face touches the floor. She looked every corner under the bed but nothing.
She sighed again in disappointment.
Then again an idea came up to her mind. She immediately stood up and looked under the pillows but there's no book. And her last chance, she flipped over every edge of the mattress planning to give up hope on looking for the book if ever it wasn't still there.
But to her surprise... under the mattress is the old enchanted book that she has been looking for.
"Yes! I found it! Finally!" she exclaimed happily.
Then she hastily ran through her room and locked the door from inside. She jumped on her bed and sat with cross legs and she put the book infront of her.
She took a deep breath while starring at the book. And slowly, she opens the book...
She was dazzled by the light coming from inside the book.
