Colleen POV
"And that is why I'm never going to that store in Canada again!" I walked up to the camera and turned it off.
"Wow...I never knew you were this opinionated and you're not afraid to show it either," Josh said, sitting on the couch opposite me on his laptop.
I laughed and walked to the kitchen to start up the Keurig to make a couple coffees. I turned on the radio. Josh came in and snuck up on me, picked me up by the waist and spun me around. We started into each other's eyes. Our hands lock as he put his arm around my waist. I lead his head against his chest and we slowly moved to the beat, swaying from side to side. Our eyes never moved. The song stopped. I caressed his check and he lent in close. We were about to kiss but we were interrupted by the buzz of my phone in the back of my jean pocket. Josh laughed as he went to continue sorting out coffee.
"Hello?" I said.
"Oh, helloz itz le pizza guy from le road ya!" It was obviously Rachel.
"Yes Rachel, I know it's you."
"You could have at least played along!" She said, "Do you mind if you helped me out?"
"Sure," I replied, "What do you need?"
"Nothing, I'm bored!" She laughed down the phone.
"Rachel, you annoy me so much when you do this but, if you didn't do it, it wouldn't be you."
"You got it!" She made a clicking noise with her teeth.
"Is that it?"
"Yeah, bye Colleen!"
"Bye, Rachel." I cut off the call.
I walked into the living room to see Josh standing there in a suit with one a red dress in his hand.
"Josh, what are you doing?" I asked.
He didn't answer. All he did was offer me his hand and lead me in to see our living room with a large vase of red roses on the table and the shelfs were lit up with candles. I smiled so much my checks hurt.
"Who needs to go out when I have all of what I need right here." He said.
I felt a lump in my throat and my eyes well up. I grabbed the dress from his hand and went to the other room to change.
Joshua POV
I saw Colleen walk out. I quickly ran to the mirror on the wall to check my hair and I then turned around. She was stunning! The dress fit perfectly and I went over and grabbed he hand. I sat next to her on the couch and handed her the coffee that was sitting on the table. She smiled a weak smile.
"Sorry," I said.
"Sorry for what?" She asked me.
"Sorry that I'm not romantic and when I try to be it turns into us siting on our couch drinking coffee with the room exploded with 101 different scents of candle in the room."
She kissed me on the forehead.
"And I wouldn't want it any other way!" She said and then continuing to put the coffee down.
We both sat back in the chair and she lent her head on my shoulder. And then we talked. We talked and talked and talked about when we first met. I would have been lying if I said that we both hadn't of cried that night.
