~Chapter Five~Princess*Victoria*
“Would someone here tell me what’s happening to me?!” I complained feeling annoyed. “And, James, you still haven’t told me who this “Arius” is.”
James sighed. “He’s my uncle. He’s trying to build his own castle with ice.”
“Now, this is where you come in to destroy this castle of ice. The castle is his heart, soul, and spirit.” Marcus announced.
“But, if Arius is his uncle then why would I have to destroy it. I mean he’s an innocent person, right?” I asked. This was getting so confusing.
“He’s not innocent. In fact, he’s the most dangerous man alive. To kill is his only will and job.” James replied.
What? They want me to kill a menacing man? I surely didn’t want to do that. And even if I did, how would I. I mean, it’s not like I have supernatural powers that could shatter rocks into crumbs.
“Ahem, nobody has answered my main question yet. What is happening to me?!” I shouted loudly to get everyone’s full attention.
“Your the Dragon Warrior Princess.” Marcus explained. “Your companion will be Kaelin.”
Me? A Princess? Yeah right!
“If you don’t believe me, look at the tattoo on the back of your shoulder.” Marcus told me.
I rolled up the sleeve of my shirt and found a small orange tattoo with the words “Dragon Warrior Princess” written on it. I had never noticed it before.
“Cool. But I’m still not doing it.” I said staring wide-eyed at my strange tattoo.
“Oh come on!”Marcus cried.
I thought over it again. Then an idea came up in my head.
“Fine, I’ll do it. If you teach me how to fight!” I challenged Marcus.
Marcus shot a horrified looked at me. Well, of course he would. I grimaced sheepishly. I’m not a good learner. I’ve been expelled from five excellent schools (because the teachers were very impatient with me. Or, I was just difficult). James, who was watching, burst out with a loud guffaw.
“Hah hah! Don’t worry Marcus. I’ll teach her how to ride a dragon and fight.” James reassured him with his dazzling smile.
“Alright. But remember your responsible.”
He nodded.
“So, where shall we start?” James turned to me and asked.
“Dragon Rides.”
