24. Where's the party tonight?

      I heard sounds which seem like coming from far away.I squinted my eyes and partly opened it and closed it back as i didn't want to wake up but as soon as realisation hit me,i fluttered my eyelids up,opening my eyes wide and head already in air

"What the.." i blurted out as i got up on my bed.Hussain and Shehry watching basketball match in my room,in my tv,sitting in my bean bags that too this morning.I looked sideways at the wall clock which showed 9 AM,quickly checking myself,i pulled my hair at one side as i sat straight on my bed.By the time,they turned to look at me showing off their colgate wali smile making me roll my eyes

"Good morning" they chimed in unison

"Tumlog subah subah yahan kya karrahe ho?" I asked furrowing ny brows instead of replying to their greetings

"Tere uthne ka intizaar" Shehry chimed and earn a look from Hussain.He made a straight face in response

"Aur woh kyun karrahe the?" I asked as they switched off the tv and turned to face me

"for the mechanism of breaking the fasting period of the prior night" Hussain said and i looked at him clueless

"Nashte ke liye,he meant" Shehry said again keeping the straight face,they both looked at each other and broke into gwafs giving high-five which they missed.I huffed in annoyance

"Subah subah hi bakwaas" i shaked my head earning chuckles from them

"Wese tum dono kar kya rahe ho yahan woh bhi itni subah?" I asked getting to the point

"Good news hai tere liye" Shehry said as Hussain got up from the bean bag and walked towards the window

"Mom aur dad dubai gaye hain for few days,dad ke kisi client ki beti ki shaadi par" Hussain said drawing aside the curtains which made me scrunch my face as sun light spread across the room

"Toh Zarina aunty hume baahir ka khana khaane dene se rahi" Shehry said and i nodded my head "Accha.."

"What's the good news?" I asked quickly remembering

"Yahi toh good news hai,hum zyada waqt yahin pe honge" Shehry chirped making me roll my eyes big time.I glared daggers at him as he broke into laughter

As if we stay away from eachother for ages

"Accha sorry,chal tu fresh hoke aaja" he said and left the room with Hussain following him.I smiled to myself

Wese Good news toh hai...

    I went downstairs and scanned the lounge to find no one,i followed the voices coming from kitchen.Going there i found Shehry and Hussain near the counter,Hussain was into roti dough and Shehry was cooking something while mama was sitting in the table cutting apple,she was looking at them every now and then

"What's cooking?" I asked as i sat with mama taking a bite from the apple

"Mother of egg" Shehry flaunted.I knitted my brows in confusion

"You mean chicken?" I asked.He turn towards me shaking his head as a no

"Anda ki maa...Anda keema" he grinned wide explaining me.Mama laughed throwing her heads up while Hussain and I glared at him.He straightened his face

"What? No?" he asked and we gave a slow shake to our head.Mama still laughing got off from the seat and left the kitchen.He tried to stop her but she just left shaking her head

"I think i cracked it" he said in his defence

"Why do you even try bro?" Hussain asked placing his palm in his shoulder as if sympathizing with him.I chuckled looking at their faces
