When they finally let me go I had only two minutes to get to my locker and then to class. I made it with only seconds to spare. The whole day went by faster than I wanted except for my last class, home economics.
That day Mrs.Posey decided to give us an "easy" task for that day, the thing I couldn't make to save my life...BROWNIES!!! Though they were my worst baking good of choice Christa was like a drawing artist with these. Hers always came out fluffy and rich, while mine were a little more hard as a brick and flakey. After I put mine in the oven to roast I asked Christa to watch them while I went and spoke to Adam. And since it was a boy I was going to see she didn't protest.
Adam was sitting at his work space draw while his brownies were in the oven.
"Hi, Adam," I said and he fell over in his chair.
Mrs.Posey looked over at us and so did almost every student in the class. But Adam nearly jumped up and merely said "I'm okay," everyone went back to what they were doing along with Mrs.Posey.
"So hey what's up," he said leaning on his desk as it her was the coolest person in the world and he hadn't just fallen over in his chair.
I smiled at him "Just wanted to stop by your work space and say hey,"
"That cool, yeah I was going to come over and ask you something but I don't have anyone to watch my stuff,"
"Oh well I'm here now, what did you want to ask me?,"
"Well I just wanted to know if we could hang out tonight, that's all,"
He smiled at me and I started to feel bad. I know it wasn't my fault that Lucas asked me first, but I still felt bad. "I'm sorry but Lucas asked if we could hang out after school today. But I'm free tomorrow if you want,"
He looked disappointed but the was nothing I could really do with out being rude to someone. But the smiled again and said "Sure that's fine. Hey text me when you can so we can figure out what to do,"
"We still have all class to talk you know," I said looking at the clock to see we still had twenty minutes.
He let out a slight laugh "Um I might but you don't," he pointed to my work space where the oven was smoking violently.
I ran over there and called Mrs.Posey over for help. When I looked around Christa was three work spaces away talking with a cheer leader who was friends with Taylor. I rolled my eyes. When Mrs.Posey couldn't get it to stop smoking the fire alarm went off and so did the sprinklers. We all had to stand out side the classroom while our principal -Mr.Nutro- and gym teacher -Mr.Roger- took fire extinguishers into the classroom. Everyone knew it was me who had done it but most didn't even care.
After it was put out Mr.Nutro took me into his office. He suggested I take something else other than cooking. But I knew he wasn't really just suggesting this to me he was telling me. So in the end I transferred out of cooking and into clay for the rest of the year.
When I was finally released from the office I found Lucas there waiting for me. He was sitting in some burgundy colored chairs outside the door. He looked up when he heard the office door open and when he saw it was me he smiled.
"Just wanted to make sure you were okay. I heard there was a fire in your home economics class today,"
I had to laugh at this. I didn't know if he knew that it was my fault or not but he didn't seem to pry on the subject. "Well I didn't burn alive so yeah I'm fine. How did you know were I was?,"
"Christa was...very willing to tell me where you were, and why," he smiled and I couldn't help but face palm myself.
I new Christa was the kind of person who would tell a guy, who potentially like me, anything if it was related to me. That was about one of the only things I truly hated about her with a passion. I sometimes wished that she was more like Kently who just shrug and walk away.
"Well I have to get home, I'll see you at 630 okay,"
"I also wanted to talk to you about that, can you meet me at Roller Roy's at 630,"
"Um...yeah sure see you then,"
I walked away and went to my locker there I got my thing and went outside. I knew Kently had left so I walked home again. The whole way there I couldn't stop thinking about tonight. Roller Roy's was a popular teen hang out, it was a roller rink. They played good music and had cheap food so a lot of kids hung out there young and older. It's going to be fun. I think...

So I liked this chapter a lot. My personal favorite part was where Alina set the home economics classroom on fire. I tried my best to add funny parts in. Did I succeeded? Um it will probably be next week when I release my new part one of a new book which if you follow me you will see on my page. Also that means this books part five might be late sorry but I really want to get part one of my new book out.
Thanks to anyone who has read my books + followed me I really appreciate it, once again thanks. So God bless and happy reading.
