prologue

wyatt, lane and carmen were just three teenagers with awful home lives.
carmen would get beaten by her deadbeat father almost every night, she was a worshipper of god and felt like only he was her real father. not her father down on earth with her, one who barely fed her and was always drinking tequila, but her father who was somewhere up in the heavens always watching over her.
wyatt's step-mother was barely home, and it seemed like she had always been pregnant. every child his step-mother, caroline, would have, wyatt would end up taking care of, which made him furious. his mother died when he was only 4, driving off a cliff and killing herself. his father left, after wyatt's birth mother died, his father was searching for love in every woman he could get his hands on. that's when he met caroline, in some cheap bar that only sold budlight, and even though wyatt's father had left nearly a year ago, caroline claims it was true love.
and lane?
nobody knows, and he forbids that anyone ever know.

IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS STORY AH. I HAVENT PUBLISHED A STORY IN FOREVER BUT I FINALLY CAME UP WITH A GOOD PLOT AND IM SUPER EXCITED. THERE WILL BE ALL KINDS OF EMOTION IN THIS STORY SO PREPARE YOURSELVES.
