Football Game ||Chapter 1||

Kylie POV

   I finish texting Amelia about the football game later. "Are you ready Kylie?" Mom asks me "Yea! One second!" I yell shutting my phone off and running downstairs. I grab a PopTart and run to my mom's car. "Ready for school?" Mom asks "Yep. I'm staying after school for the football game" I say "Ok, just text me when ya over" "Ok!" I say excitedly. I really want to see Graysen play. Yep, I'm ready for school!

   I walk into Oakridge and head to the student lounge, to wait for Amelia. I sit down and see Graysen across the student lounge, and I start smiling. I then see Amelia's athletic bag plop down next to me "Hey! Ok, so I might be a little late to the game, but I'll be there. I depends on how long coach keeps us!" She tells me "Chill" I tell her "Breathe" "Ok. Thanks!" "No problem" I tell her, while looking at Graysen. "Hey! Who are you looking at. And smiling about? TELL ME WOMAN!" "Fine. I'm looking at Graysen" I admit "Yea, I ship it" Amelia says "You always say that "Yea. Because it's true" "Oh Amelia" I tell her jokingly.

    "So, how's life?" I ask "Good!" She tells me. "Any guy?" I ask "What? Me? No!" She says "You're lying. And smiling" "I prefer silence now" she says. Oh how awkward she is. Her head immediately turns in the other direction. "You're looking at..." I start "The wall?" She says "A person?" "Wha? No!" "Yep, it looks like Noa-" "Shut up" she says laughing. Yea I ship it now, Mr. Popular and Ms. Academic. "I swear if you say you ship it, I'll kill you" she says. She can be awkward, but then she can become violent in .5 seconds.

   Just then, our other friends; Morgan and Chris come over "Hey guys!" Amelia says "I might go to the football game" Chris tells us "Really? Cool!" Amelia says, but I know she doesn't want anyone else around her, after I just found out who she likes. The bell rings and I walk into my class. I see Graysen walk in the room, and I smile, but I put my head down and write in my notebook. The teacher comes in, and I know that this will be a long day.

*End of day*

    I get into my mom's car "How was school?" "Good. Usual school" I tell her. We head home and I walk inside. I get my homework out and start doing it. Ugh! As I do my homework, I think about the football game and how Graysen will be in it. Oh jeez, I don't want to turn into one of those boy-obsesses people. I hear my phone ding after an hour. "It's time to go!" I tell my mom "Ok! Get in the car and I'll be there" Mom says.

    We get into the car and I gamer really excited. I've never been to an Oakridge sporting event. Amelia has been to a lot, considering that she goes to every football game after her volleyball practice. I get to the field and jump out of the car "Thanks mom!" I say "No problem Kylie, text me when it's over" "Ok! Bye" I say walking to the table where you get your ticket.

   "One ticket please" I say to the teacher, handing her $2 "Here you go, enjoy" "thank you!" I say, knowing that I'll enjoy. I walk to the bleachers and sit down, saving a spot for Amelia, knowing that she'll be here soon.

   A few minutes later, I see someone walk around the corner with a volleyball bag. It's definitely Amelia. She pays for her ticket and comes over to where I am. "Hey!" She says "Dude, you look really tired!" I exclaim "No dip. I just came from volleyball practice. With sprints. And conditioning. Not ready for it" she says. I laugh at her, then turn my attention to the field. I see Graysen, and smile "Ha! Found him?" She asks "Yep! Oh my gosh, I actually think I like him." I say "wow. That's cool" she says, then looks at the field. She suddenly smiles, and I see that #19 just entered the field "Found him?" "Yea. But the thing is, he probably doesn't even know my name" she says.

*at halftime*

    It's halftime, and the cheerleaders run onto the field holding signs. They hold the signs up and I read them "What do they say?" Amelia asks "Ummm, 'Will you go out with me, Kylie'?" I read. Me? Ha! Someone knows who I am? Well. I look into the field and see that Graysen is standing there "Say yes" Amelia says, so I yell "YES!" And Graysen smiles. I wait for the end of the game to come.

*after game*

   We won 42-14, and now I'm trying to find Graysen before he has to watch the game footage. Yea, I know about that. I find him and run over to him "Graysen!" I yell "Kylie!" He yells back, and I hug him. I really don't care that he just played a game. I smile and see that he's smiling too. I'm about to speak, but his coach yells for everyone to go to the end zone and watch the footage.

   I walk over to Amelia, to see that she's staring at Noah. I need to help her with that. "So? How'd it go" she asks "it went well" "well? That's all you say?" "Yea, not much communication happened" I say "Oh" "yea" I say, then I get a text from mom saying that she's here. "I gotta go." "Me too" "See ya tomorrow!" I say "Yea! Bye" she yells while running to her dad's car.

Ok, so this is the first chapter, and I hope you like it. That's all I have to say, other than I will update every two days, Until I feel like ending the book. That's all I have to say. Byeeeeeeee!
