That day started as a regular Friday. Getting up and being excited about the many events that the weekend may hold. The only thing I wasn't excited for was sitting around for seven hours and the school lunch.
Little did I know this day held a secret. A secret of many unfortunate envents. This is how the day went.
I woke up and my regular morning routine, then me and my little brother and sister piled up in my car. Once I got to school, I had only five minutes to spare to get to my first class. Perfect timing. I went to my first class, Math. I dreaded this class because one I wasnt good at it and two I hated the teacher.
We got out of school early that day, like around ten. They didnt explain but they were sure in a hurry to get us out of school, though. I went to my locker and got my backpack and everything else I needed. I din't have much homework for us only getting out at ten.
I went to my sister and brother schools. They are at different schools because Logan is 13 and Zoe is 10. Once I got them both in the car and started heading home, things got strange. "Why are we getting out of school so early. I mean we just got her pratically," Logan asks. "I don't know just enjoy it. Hey! Atleast you get a longer weekend!," i exclaim. "Yeah. I guess,"he replies.
I look at my sister in my car mirror. "Zo, everything okay,"I ask. "This is wrong. Something is going to happen... I can just feel it,"Zoe replies. "Woahhh, calm down there Raven. Nothing's going to happen except for us having a longer weekend!"Logan exclaims. "Hey! That's the spirit!"I say and laugh.
We get home quicker than regular. My dad's car is there.. weird. He wasnt supposed to be back until next week. I open the door and my dad is laughing about something my mom said. "Whats so funny?"I ask. "Hey kiddos!"my mom says. "I baked y'all some cookies!"she exclaims. "Thanks mom. Hey dad. I thought you werent supposed to be back uintil next week,"I say. "Oh well the client cancelled so I thought I would just come back rather than spening a week in Hawaii,"he says. "Okay. But I think your crazy!"Logan exclaims.
"Well I love my family,"he says. "Guys come on lets get this homework out of the way so we dont have to do it later," my mom says. I put down my car keys on a table that we have beside the front door. "So ,honey, how was your day?"My mom asked. "It was fun but also very very very short. Which I'm thankful for,"I say and smile.
All of the sudden theres a banging on the door. "What in the worl-?"my mom gets cut off by my Dad saying he'll open it. One of my very best guy friends that I've known since preschool is standing there. He's covered in blood. "Caden?"my dad asks. "My mom... Shes been bit,"
