Harry's pov:
Walking with ron and hermione we boarded the train as I began to think about the warning Arthur had given me about Sirius Black. I wasn't panicking but in a way I was angry. I didn't have any real idea about what had really been going on, maybe I could ask Dumbledore or something? "Harry will you put your mind off of it... just wait until we get to hogwarts we can think about it then." I tried to relax as we attempted to find an empty cabin only coming across one with a girl sat there reading an old looking book. "Spineret! I didn't think that you would be on the train." I blurted utterly confused by her presence. We had known her she was in gryfindor and would often talk to Nevil or older kids like Fred and George but we didn't really know her that well or speak that much. Smiling she put the book in her lap and raised an eyebrow. "I've always got the train harry... I always sat with Neville and the others." I felt a little guilty for not knowing her that well, she really was a good person. I think? No one knew much about her... She's not quiet but in a conversation she just asked about others.
She was an attractive girl lightly tanned skin green eyes and curly dark brown hair. She was tall to, and liked to use Shamus' shoulder as a prop stand for her elbow. "If you're looking for an empty carriage then there's one at the end of this section." She said motioning to a door at the end. "Thanks." And with that awkward statement we carried on "well that wasn't rude of you at all." Hermione snapped as I sighed. "Not to be offensive but something about her puts me off..." "Maybe ron if you two would actually talk to her you would notice how nice she is." Opening the door we went in side where we continued ranting.
Draco:
Making my way down the corridor I saw the golden trio ahed talking to someone and then leave. Heading to the cabin out of curiosity I looked in the door to see a girl reading, and a familiar face behind the book. "Lupin." I said as she scowled back at me. "What do you want malfoy, still sore about our little heart to heart?" She smirked as I sat in front of her scowling. "I think you enjoyed it just as much as I did." Last year I had insulted her little friend Granger in the library to which she thought she would sabotage my playing in quidditch, just because her mother had taught her how to preform non verbal spell's she thought it would be interesting to jinx my broom into flying into the Slytherin goal causing our keeper to fall and letting gryfindor take the final match. From that day on I had started to notice her everywhere. Leaning on walls talking with teachers and mostly in the library with that mudblood Granger.
"Why are you sitting here?" She said trying to read her book. It wasn't her looks or anything, I guess she was kind of attractive but I'd never tell her that. "I was bored and felt like seeing something that would make me laugh." I smirked resting my chin on top of my hand.
"Funny I was waiting for a real insult there draco." She smirked back putting her book down. Suddenly I noticed that something was off, "why is it so cold?" I said looking out the window as frost began to gather around the window. A sudden jolt went through the train causing lupin to fall forward onto me. Looking up she pushed away and stood up drawing her wand. "What the hell is going on.". I noticed her visibly shudder and reach a hand to the Handel. "dementors?" She said stepping away and grabbing my wrist pulling me down with her and leaning against the door. "What do you think you're doing-" she slapped her hand over my mouth and shushed me. Looking up I screamed into her hand as she just waited until it had passed. Releasing her hand from my mouth I opened my mouth to yell at her only too have her wave her wand at my face. "Stupefy!" And all went black.
Spinneret:
Sighing I wiped my hand on my skirt cringing at the amount of saliva draco had left from his pathetic girly scream. He was such a fool, I could have done something like drawn on his face or shove his finger up his nose. No not today, Remus would kill me if he found out that I had used a spell on another student let alone humiliate him. Reaching under his arm I lifted him up and on to the seat sitting him down and glaring at his gormless expression. I hated him, I could of jinxed him and his stupid face. I pointed my wand at his face but stopped when I had an even better idea. "Spinneret Cellita Lupin what's going on!" I snapped my head to see Remus in the door way. "Remus! I was just taking care of him and..." Now there's a look my uncle has when he knows a person is lying and right now I was its cold dead victim. "Spinneret did you use spell on this boy?" I thought about lying again but even I knew that was suicide. "The dementor was coming and he was going to scream! It was his own fault!" I snapped as he sighed.
"Just sit down I'm going to see the conductor." He said and walked off. Sitting down I glared at draco. "You're so lucky right now." Removing the spell I began to read my book again as he slept.
~~~time skip~~~
I walked down to the grand hall with Hermione as ron and harry walked in front. "A Dementor! Are you sure? Those things are supposed to stay around Askerban!" She said a sense of worry and anxiety in her voice. "I know, but ever since black's been on the run no one knows where they could be." I said looking back at harry. "Is he alright... You know after his incident on the train?" When the dementor had attacked harry had been subjected to it. Apparently he heard a woman scream, he thought it was his mother and I don't doubt it for a second. Hearing a snigger I look behind me to see draco turn around. "You fainted, I mean you actually fainted?" I glared at malfoy as Hermione spoke up. "Leave him be malfoy." Turning his gaze to her he looked her up and down almost disgusted by her "what are you going to do you filthy little mud blood." I glared at him leaning towards him "do you want another little heart to heart draco?" I said my wand in hand "or are you going to scream like a little girl and recreate the events in the train?" I smirked as his once smug face dropped into a scowl. "Why you little-" before mouthy malfoy could finish dumbledor began and Draco turned back to his seat.
After some droning on I finally noticed my uncle stood up "spin, you didn't tell me that Remus was our new teacher!" Neville said as I awkwardly rubbed my neck "yeah I know crazy right?" Goodbye world I don't think I can make it through this year, I've already been overly busy the last two years with the golden trio but with my uncle and another unexpected relative around I don't know how I'm going to survive. "Now head to your dormitory's." Standing up I began walking with Fred and George back to the gryfindor common room and noticed a pice of parchment in Fred's pocket. My eyes widened as I snatched it back. "That's my map!" I whisper yelled holding it close to me. "Rubbish!" "Yeah we nicked it fair and square from filches office." I looked at both of them gritting my teeth out of annoyance. "Yes because I was fixing it and he caught me!" I said putting it in my inner cloak pocket. What I failed to notice was a certain mouthoy was staring at it the whole time. "So I heard your uncle is the new DA teacher?" "Think you can score us some good points?" The twins smirked and I sighed "I'm not really on his good side, he says I'm just as bad as mum when it comes to mischief. However when it comes to him, mooney wasn't the good boy he makes out to be." And I'm definitely not a 'good girl' which is why draco is going to get the prank of his life! Oh this is going to be good. If I rightly remember hagrid had a new animal to show us maybe I could come up with something.
Suddenly a hand waved me over and looking towards it I saw it was dumbledor. "Oh no..." I gulped and made my way over to him. "Hi professor... Is there anything I can do for you?" I mumbled only to have him smile at me. "Come to my office I need to talk to you about something, it's about your father." I stopped following him I couldn't breath I was so nervous. "Oh and Remus told me about the train incident." I looked up at him and realised he was on about malfoy. "Oh well there were dementors and he was screaming so I had to stop him and..." He raised his hand as we stood in front of the stairs. "You should make amends with him. But if you want him to get what's coming to him a little karma is always deserved." Smiling I looked up at him as we went into the room. Sitting down I looked up at him was about to open my mouth until he sat and said " and don't think about using any of hagrids animals." I sighed and slouched in my chair. "So what about my dad?" A small silence passed over us it was short but it was killing. "He has been seen near by... Now I know you spinneret, your just like your mother. I know that you want to go after him and that you want to see him." Dumbledor was right he could read me like a book I was just like my mother, appearance and all the same dark hair and those vibrant green eyes, and that scared some people, some. "I won't stop you." I looked up surprised at his words. "Just promise me something..."
