Wish shook her head, her eyes squeezed shut. She didn't want to believe what she was hearing, she didn't want to hear anything at all.
"This is your fault, Wish, you need to understand that!" Serenity cried, her eyes filled with a fiery rage.
Wish's eyes filled with tears, and they rolled down her pale cheeks. "I didn't want it to end like this. I didn't want him to die . . ." She looked up with bloodshot eyes, leaning back against a tree. "Those weren't my intentions at all."
Fauna knelt down beside the mourning girl, her hand moving the hair from Wish's face. Wish was about to respond before the scarlet headed girl embraced her, her eyes shut tightly. "It's not your fault . . . It's never your fault . . ."
