Introduction to Geovanna/Geo

This is Geovanna or Geo for short, she is also 15. In the picture she may look like a child but she isnt ... (she's looking good for a teenager.)

I suppose I'd better inform you of her truly tragic past ...

On one beautifully sunny morning an adorable baby girl was born. She was perfect ... at this point her parents loved her. (See how I said 'loved'.) ... So they called this gorgeous baby, Geovanna. The first week and a half of her life (the time she was in hospital) was magical. Her parents had been blessed with a baby girl and they treated her like a princess. But unfortunately this could be the last time she is happy or treated correctly for a while ...

As soon as her parents were given the all clear, they rushed out of the hospital as quick as they could ... the way they ran out of the hospital was suspicious, why were they in such a rush? Yes they would be excited to take their new born home, but surely they wouldn't rush out of the hospital  like they were trying to escape a prison ... What had happened or what had they done or what had they seen to make them literally run out of the hospital? No one knew.

The first week at home with Geo was tough ... as can be expected with all new born babies. Yes it would have been a struggle to get used to having your own baby to look after but that doesn't give them any reason to abuse their baby!

Geo was a baby! Babies do cry, some cry a lot and some cry a little. Her parents were stupid if they think she would be quiet and not make a single noise. She was a baby, she would cry, laugh, giggle and all those funny baby noises they made. But I guess Geo's parents thought it would be different for them ... well they thought wrong. 

Geo was one of those babies that made a lot of noise. So? Yes after a while it would get nerve wreaking, and you get headaches but seriously what makes you think you can abuse a baby for being a baby?

One tragic night Geo's mum couldn't take it any longer ... she suffered from depression and had battled with many various illness'. Over the years she had battled with self harm and she even considered committing suicide on occasions ... but something always stopped her (her family) Thank God. No matter how much Geo's mum struggled with life she could never do it, she couldn't just leave her family and her life behind. Until one night Geo kept crying ... It really affected her, she couldn't take it, she tried all she could to calm baby Geo down but she couldn't. Nothing worked, Geo's dad stormed in and started beating Geo and her mum ... he almost killed them both! He raped them both, Geo was only 4 months old, her mum was only 22. The brutal beating kept happening for what seemed like forever ... when he finally left Geo's mum rushed over to her to help her, she was crying again. Geo's mum couldn't deal with it anymore! That day she had also lost her job - the family depended on her getting money for them. 

2 hours later ... Police rushed to the bloody scene as they began to brake the door down ... Death surrounded them. Who or what was dead?

Police ran through the house searching for anyone that was still there, no one was downstairs so the police began to focus on the upstairs and the attic. As soon as they reached the top of the stairs, death hit them in the face once again. They could hear something ... what or who was it?

As they got closer they realized it was the sound of a baby crying they ran a quick as light itself into the room ... To discover Geo's mum hanging from the ceiling with a gun shot wound to the head, she'd ended her life by hanging herself with rope and then shot herself in the head to make sure she would be dead. 

All this happened and poor baby Geo watched it ... I wish I could say that was it ...

After Geo's mum committed suicide she was forced to stay with the monster that we would traditionally call 'Dad.' Her Dad raised her to think she never had a mum, and that she never wanted her and that she left her just after she gave birth to her. (But obviously she didn't her mum protected her with her life, she would have gone to the end of the universe and back if it meant that Geo was safe, but sadly Geo's mum was going through too much to deal with, if she didn't commit suicide she'd probably be the best mum ever. But now we will never know ...) The torture and the abuse didn't stop at rape, that was only the beginning of what her Dad did to her.

Sadly for Geo she went through this and had to live with him till she was 10 years old. Nearly 10 years she suffered. Surprisingly no one heard Geo scream in pain ... it went un-noticed for 10 years! Until social services got involved one day and that was the best day in her life. That was the day that Jade's parents decided to adopt her. Now were they not only best friends, they are now sisters.

Over the years she has learned to trust, she has learned to love again. Most importantly she learned to smile again, for the first time in nearly 10 years she has hope and she has the opportunity for a better life.

Without her new adopted family and her friends : Conner; Lewis & Layla; Will and most importantly Jade, she would never be the person she is today!

Now she is one of the most happiest people in their school. She is very, very caring towards everyone, she has a massive heart!

Her hobbies are : ART; Sports and making people feel better and making them smile.

ART - Because she loves to paint and draw and she loves to do it with Jade.

Sports - Because it helps her to keep active and fit, and help her live a long and healthy life, she says that 'Sports is amazing it has become a massive part of my life, and its so fun!'

Making people feel better and making them smile - Because she doesn't want anyone to feel like they have been isolated from the world (that is how she felt in those terrifying years) and she just wants to make them smile because she wasn't aloud to smile when she was with her Dad and she just generally is an amazing person with a huge heart. 

But who knows what the future has in store for Geo ...
