"What's up Las Vegas!"

The crowd roared and the music dimmed, raising their Yards above their heads. Lazers, Strobes and pyrotechnics flared to life and the smell of Weed filled the air.

"Thank you for coming out and celebrating New Years with me, D.J. Radical!"

A second wave of cheers erupted from the crowd and this time it echoed through the entire warehouse. The D.J. wiped the sweat from her brow and continued.

"The night is still early and it's 3 hours to midnight! We'll bring it in the only way I know how!"

As she said this, she started back up the music, she watched as the rhythms of the songs matched, scratching the record precisely to cut to the next song seamlessly.

She scanned the crowd. Her eyes saw every manner, shape and composition of Alien and human alike laughing, joking, and having a merry old time, but she began to grind her teeth.

"Where are you guys?!" She growled

"Cheer up Deej!"

A petite girl, holding two yards, stumbled onto the stage. and leaned on the booth, flashing a playful grin to Deej.

Deej tore off her headphones and glared.

"Cheer up?! We've had a tip that we'd be raided tonight!"

The girl giggled and pulled down the dress that creeped up on her as she realized a bit late she was giving quite the show to the front row.

"It's ok, we've got some of the best Security on the planet, there is NO way-"

Kaboom!

The entire place shook, people began screaming, trying to push past each other in the chaos.

A small militia of well armed guards began filing in through a hole in the wall as they lobbed smoke canisters into the middle of the crowd. The people caught in the gas began to cough as they fell to the ground. The group began to circle around the remaining people in the crowd securing the perimeter, making sure no one else could escape.
"Well, I spoke too soon..."

Jess sucked the last of the alcohol from her drinks, and threw them to the side. Getting into position, she leaped off the stage and landed with a roll, staggering through the crowd, dodging and weaving to avoid contact with anyone else on a collision path with the Thugs.

"Great..."
Deej instinctively went for the button under the station and pressed it. Red warning lights blared and the whole place (began to lock down. )

"Dammit, where is Chad?!"

Sweat collected on her forehead and the hairs on her neck stood on end, her hand resting inches away from her hip.

"Put your hands where I can see them!" One of the goons boomed.

The crowd that were still conscious did as they were told, and the rest of the team had their guns at the ready.

"By the NRA Statute 12.54.921 of the Management and Immigration of Non Terrestrial Life Forms and the Harboring of illegal aliens, I place this entire place under lockdown and all of you are under arrest!"

Deej watched Jess as she ventured forth, the henches were completely oblivious to her movements.

"Damnit Jess, hurry..."

The leader looked up to the stage and then commanded.

"You, step away from the keyboard or we will use reasonable force!"

Her fingers shook and her heart began to race as he remembered the last time the AIP used "Reasonable Force"

"You think they are monsters... when the real ones..."

She grabbed for her gun, rolling downstage as she aimed down the sites.

"ARE YOU!"

Shot after shot was fired in just a few seconds, the goons started crumbling soon after one by one.

"What the-"

Jess struck at the kneecaps of the Leader, making him buckle under his weight. When he was prone, she grinned, striking his temple before slinking off to the next target.

"That's my girl!" Deej rejoiced, letting a few more bullets fly as they met their targets, the bullets curved, ricocheted and even followed the enemy as they tried to return fire.

Heading behind some boxes, one of the stooges crouched down placing his index finger to his temple.

"This is team Alpha, we need back up! Please send Back-"

Crack!

In one fell swoop, a giant of a woman with a Tattoo of a coiled chinese dragon grabbed him and broke his arm.

"No way Jose, we ain't looking for no more trouble."

Lifting him off the ground, his legs dangled and he revealed his face.

He was clean shaven, his hair in a Bob framing his face as his honey colored eyes shone in the strobes.

Their eyes went wide and they pushed him into the boxes, making the wood crack on contact.

"Jamie!? You sold us out?!"

He couldn't even look at them. The color in his face drained as he saw his arm jutting out in the wrong way.

He looked away, his arms clutched at his body as if holding himself together. "I had too"

Before he could get another word in, they punched him in the gut and dropped him with a thud to the ground.

"Piece of shit..."

They spat on his limp form and continued into the fray as tears began streaming down their face

"Dammit, could anything else go wrong?!"
