I sit down next to ash and look at him
"Looks like that hurts." I say to him.
He scowls at me"yes."
Iris yells at us to shut up then tells me that she is going to make a poultice. "Get me some small rodent bones because I've ran out." she growls.
I stand up, scowl and walk of in search of what my friend needs. I walk, stepping carelessly onto the wet leaves as water droplets land on my hair and tunic. I realise that I should probably move a bit faster as Iris is likely to be tearing her hair out because of Ash's consistent moans that his leg hurts. I mean sure his leg must be pretty painful but we already know it hurts so he doesn't need to tell us again. I jog on for about half an hour until I reach a small clearing. Lying on top of a rock there is a small skeleton of a shrew lying on its side. I grab it in my fist, secure it in my pocket and begin the short run back.
