Aurora Blackwell hurriedly waved good bye to her parents as she ran to catch the train.

She had received her acceptance letter late from Hogwarts and as such only have two days to get packed.
One of which she was trying to convince her parents that a magical world did exist, for they could not conceptualize such a thing.
However, to Aurora it made perfect sense, because she aways had this pervasive feeling that she was not like the other kids.

As Aurora was contemplating this recent revelation, she slipped and fell face first into a boy. He had brunette hair an aquiline nose and startling green eyes. Being the contrite girl that she was, Aurora profusely apologized but was swiftly dismissed.

"Watch where your going" , the boy said with a haughty disposition. The young man then pushed passed Aurora to get to the train. Though a bit peeved at the boy's behavior Aurora quickly made her way to the train.

Unsurprisingly many seats were already taken and people seemed to have divided themselves into cliques. This caused the already introverted girl to feel even more isolated. Then, a girl with brown hair and bright blue eyes came over to Aurora and sat with her.

"Hi, I'm Mildred Macdonald and I can't wait until we get to the castle. I want to get into Slytherin, seeing as my parents are purebloods. And they demand that I carry on the pureblood name, so it's only fitting. Anyway I saw your interaction with Tom, and I just want to caution you to not get on his bad side. He comes from a wealthy pure blood family, and as such as great amounts of political power. Oh I'm sorry, what's your name?", finished Mildred speedily.

"Aurora Blackwell", the young muggleborn responded meekly.

"Blackwell...Blackwell", Macdonald repeated to herself trying to think of a pureblood family with that name.
"Oh, you're a mud- I mean muggleborn", she surmised quickly correcting herself.

"Yes, I believe so", Aurora replied.
"Oh well, that's fine as long as I don't tell my parents", Mildred finished.
After this awkward conversation they sat in silence for the remainder of the trip.
