"Iden." She paused as her friend sat down next to her to look upon the stars. "Now, can you answer my question?"

She looked on in the distance. "Very well." She continued. She explained to Kahsow how she was able to obtain a pod just as the ship exploded. She thought about searching for Kahsow but she needed to get back to her home planet.

"But how did Ben find you? How did they capture you?"

"Ben?"

"Oh," she sighed. She didn't want to sag the name. "Kylo Ren."

"Oh. Right. Well they found me in the fields. I couldn't outrun them. So there's that."

Kahsow nodded as she listened. "Is that his real name? Ben?"

"You have to understand. He has changed. For the better. That evil bastard was using him as a pawn but he failed. He was able to break free." She defended her love. "I know that he has done terrible things. Unspeakable things." "He murdered my parents." She stopped her.

"He murdered my parents. Right before our eyes. My brother never recovered. He never speaks. He is now mute. Thanks to 'Ben'."

"Please, give him a chance. He is a father now. If that helps anything."

Her eyes grew wide. "Who is the mother?"

Kahsow began to blush, remembering Baros. "You?"

"Yeah. His name is Baros. He is 9 months old. He is a darling little thing."

"I would assume any child of yours will be. After all, you were a beautiful little baby."

Kahsow jumped to her feet. "What did you just say?"

Iden realized her mistake. She jumped to her feet as well. "Kahsow. Please do not be frighten." Well, you're not helping," Kahsow shot back.

She took a big sigh. "I was present at your birth. I am your guardian as well is Ijue. But he wasn't present. He wasn't made your guardian until I came back, telling her about you."

"Her? You knew my mother? Is she still alive?" She blurted all sorts of questions.

"Yes. And for now, yes. But rest please. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow," leading her to her adobe. She gave Kahsow a bed.

Kahsow rested her head on the provided pillow.

Mother is still alive. But what did Iden mean for now? Could she be dying?

She fell asleep with questions racing through her mind.

"Wake up, sunshine." Iden gently shook Kahsow. She began to stir then shot right up as she realized it was Iden. "Are you well rested?" She nodded somewhat courteous. "Well then, let's get you properly dressed. We must meet with the Iajesty first." She complied. As she changed into a light color tunic with brown short sweatpants, Iden thought of how to explain to her lord her mistake. Then Kahsow interrupted her thoughts. "Done. Now what are we doing?"

"Come. Follow me."

As they appeared before her lord and his wife, she began to speak but he stopped her. "The Queen is now requesting yours, Kahsow's, and Ijue's presence immediately. Go on. Safe travels." He dismissed them.

"Kahsow. Please do forgive me. I didn't tell you who I was," Iden begged Kahsow as they loaded onto their bird-dragon creatures. The creatures, Ineixbeurje, was a creature with the head of a blue jay but with the body of a ancient dragon. Personality of a dog. But feisty like a cat. It was a strange sight to behold.
