Why? (Sesshomaru and Rin Fanfic)

Chapter 1

I stare out the window. Why hasn't he come? I thought he would come visit me at least. I'm fifteen now. It's been 6 years since I seen him. I closed my eyes and laid in my bed. What if something happened to him? Maybe that's why i haven't seen him! No, he's Sesshomaru he is strong... Maybe he just doesn't care about me anymore.. I need to take a walk. I get up off my bed and walk out of the house. I walk to the woods that were nearby. It always made me feel better when I take walks. I would feel inspired by looking at nature. It's just so beautiful. I went very deep in the woods and sat down next to a tree. I watch as the birds chirped and fly from tree to tree. I wonder what they think of.

I was hearing rustling in the bushes next to me. I didn't mind it until I heard a growl. I quickly shot up. I'm still afraid of wolves, I can never forget how I was attacked by some. I looked at the bushes and slowly walk backwards keeping an eye on the bush. I heard another grow and started to see it's eyes. Should I run? No, it'll come right after me. But if I walk slowly it'll for sure attack me. Without knowing i tripped on a tree root and fell. Fear aroused inside me I stiffen. I notice that I cut my heel too. The wolf sprung out of the bushes right out at me. I got up as fast as I could and ran screaming. I'm never coming back to these woods ever again. I ran, as I can feel the wolf coming closer to me. I screamed as loud as I could. I know no one would save me in time. I'm starting to just give up. Why do they always have to be after me!?

Out of no where I feel this huge wind. I turned around to take one look glance at the wolf but someone was was standing behind me. Wait a minute my eyes shot open in surprise. Lord Sesshomaru?

"Lord Sesshomaru?" I questioned.

He didn't say anything he just stood there with his back turned.

"You saved me Lord Sesshomaru, thank you." I say relieved.

I waited for a response but he didn't do anything he just stood there.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" I try to say again.

He slowly turned around looking at me. He was looking all over me, which was kind of weird. I give him a frowny face.

"Did the dog bite you?" He questioned in his cold voice.

"N-no?" I stuttered.

He glanced at me. I felt my ankle start to sting. I went to rub it, and thats when I saw blood. That's right I tripped over that root. It was slice about an inch long with blood running down.

"What did you do?" He asks.

"I think it was when I tripped on a root. It's not a big deal." I said.

He made a "hmf" sound and walked off.

"Wait Lord Sesshomaru." I yelled.

He stopped to listen.

"Where have you been all this time? I've been waiting for years for you to come back but you never did." I say.

"I was busy." He says and continues walking.

"So your just going to leave me again?" I questioned.

He stops again and says "I have things to do I can't look after a little girl." And walks off.

I just stood there. 'Little girl?' I looked down, he wants nothing to do with me anymore. But why did he come here to save me? I heard rustling through the leaves on the ground. I turned to it quickly. Is their more wolves? I heart began to beat fast.

"There you are rin." I heard a familiar voice. I breathed out a relief.

"What are you doing here?" Inuyasha continued to say.

"I wanted to take a walk." I say kind of low.

"Well why'd you scream? You had us worried" I hear Kagome in the back of him.

"I-" I start to say but should I tell them that Sesshomaru came and protected me? "I just scared myself." I finished.

"Come on lets head back." Kagome says while walking toward me. She put her hand around my back and started to walk back. I turned around to where I last saw Sesshomaru. Does he really not want me to be by his side anymore?
