"No no mom, please ,please breathe for me . For Reece." I said to her whimpering
She told me "Hail, honey, be brave. You're a beautiful young lady , one of the most fearless girls I've ever known.
"Stay strong and take care of Reece",giving me a sympathetic smile, breathing slowly as I heard a melancholy sound and saw through my blurry contour a straight line form on the screen hanging from the wall. A tear prickled down my cheek.
She was later on covered with a soft white sheen silk cloth and that was the last time I saw my mommy. My tear stained cheeks, that once bore the most chroma, were now dull, lifeless.
"Please don't leave me mommy."
Hailey Young Rosewater's POV
It has been exactly nine years since my mum passed away. In a way, she was an antagonist. She was diagnosed with leukaemia when I was just seven.
My younger brother, Reece James Rosewater, who is about eight years younger than me was just a few months old when my mom Jenna rosewater kicked the bucket. My dad, Lucas Rosewater left us before I can even remember. My brother and I have been residing in an orphanage named the "Apple Blossom Orphanage Home" in Fremont, CA. We go to one of the most well known schools in Fremont - The American High School. I'm in the tenth grade and I'm 16. My brother is in an elementary school named Ardenwood Elementary School. This is my life.
