Chapter twenty-five: I love you

Start from the beginning

It almost sounded like. . .

Ross.

I began in a sprint, my legs leading me where the voice was.

It was all a big misunderstanding. Please don't hate me.

I ran faster, the voice now louder.

Please, don't hate me. Ross said again in my head.

By now I was running the fastest that I have ever ran.

The trees going by in a blur.

I finally reached an opening.

There seemed to be circle of trees, the middle just an open valley.

I looked up to the clouds.

It seemed like there was a tornado in the middle of the open space.

The clouds going around in a circle, but haven't yet moved toward the ground.

My eyes moved down, seeing Ross in the middle with his hands up to his sides and he was facing away from me.

"Ross!" I shouted, almost running towards him.

He was a got few dozen yards from me.

The wind picked up again, almost knocking me off of my feet.

"ROSS!" I shouted, the rain seeming to prick my skin.

He didn't move, his face still away from me.

I was finally a few feet from him, but the wind was the strongest here.

Ross still stood in the middle.

The only thing moving was his soaked shirt in the wind.

It didn't seem as strong as it did where I was, but I was still about four feet from him.

Once I got to two feet, the wind went down.

But the rain stayed where it was.

It poured and went with the wind.

"Ross!" I said.

No movement.

I went and walked around him.

His eyes were closed, his face in one of pain and worry.

I moved my hand to touch him.

His eyes shot open, looking at me.

I jumped in surprise, pulling my hand back.

His eyes moved to my hands, then back to my eyes.

"You shouldn't be here." he said.

I breathed in a sigh.

"That's why I'm here." I said, taking a step toward him.

He saw me do this, but he didn't move.

"You need to leave." he said.

I shook my head, moving in closer.

I was now a foot away from him.

There were tears in his eyes, them silently running down his face.

"Listen Ross." I began. "I know you didn't mean to hurt me or scare me."

He seemed to soften his gaze.

"I know that you're a good person, and that you can go great things."

"No, I can't."

"Yes you can."

"NO!" He shouted, his hands dropping his hands to his sides.
