Samantha is the middle child, aged sixteen, whilst parents and brother is away she looks after her younger brother Josh, she tries not to show fear when Josh is nervous, worried or upset. Played as Willow Shields.
Josh is the youngest child, aged fifteen, sometimes gets worried and nervous about mother, farther and brother when they are away, but looks up to his farther and older brother Jack. Played by Ty Simpkins.
Jack is the oldest child, aged twenty-one, when around Samantha and Josh he is like a big child and loves to spend time with them, but then can become serious when he needs to be; he joined the army at nineteen, he is in the front-line team, he always has a laugh with his comrades both in the field and out of the field. Played by Jai Courtney.
James is the farther, he is forty-five, does what every he can to help the kids, wasn't very happy when Jack joined the army, but still had his back from day one since he didn't want anything bad to happen to him; he is the captain of the front-line. Played by Jeremy Renner.
Molly is the mother, she's forty-one, a kind mother to the kids, didn't mind it when Jack joined the army, she only got worried for him when he became apart of the front-line team and did more things out in the field; in the army she is a dog handler, and has been apart of that for fourteen years after being the sniper before hand. Played by Elizabeth Reaser.
