~LISSA'S POV~
I have been mad at my parents for the longest time, they decided it would be nice to move to L.A. California with out even notifying me before the day they said "pack up your stuff we're movin!" my mom yelled up the stairs echoing through the hall into my bedroom. This was going to be the worst move ever. I can't believe they didn't even notify me before hand. I was not ready for this, we we're leaving the next morning at around 6:00 am.. I just didn't understand why they we're so excited, when here I was hardly crying because I am leaving my hometown and all of my wonderful friends.
I start to slowly pack up my cloths and putting it into my suitcase, folding my close neatly. I got hungry in the process so I decided why not just go downstairs and hurry to the fridge to get a few snacks and hurry back up to my room before my parents could stop to talk to me. I could hear my parents in their room excitedly talking to one another about how excited they are for moving to a whole new state from Ohio. But I guess it's an improvement, going to California.
My brother technically older than me by just a few seconds we were twins, was just chillin on the couch assuming he had already packed his bags. "Hey Cam." I said softly as I walked past the living room. "Hey Liss. Are you excited to move to California in the morning?" He asked not knowing I was very upset that I was leaving all of my bestest of friends. "Eh. Not really." I said softly and sadly back to him. Cam started walking over to me giving me a hug saying "why, this is going to be great, maybe you could even possibly come on stage and perform a song at the magcon event, you could even sing with Shawn." "Cam,I am not that good at singing, I mean I practice a lot of the time but not good enough to persorm at a magcon event, are you crazy!.!" I said laughing at what I just said. "Liss, you are a create singer, I hear you singing all the time in your room and it sounds do good I just stand outside yoor door and listen to how good it is." Cam said making me feel alot better than i did before. "Wow really, you really think that I am a great singer Cam? Wow that means a lot coming from you, it really does." I said assuring him. "Your welcome" he stated giving me another hug and turning and walking away.
I slowly krept to the kitchen, finally making it there making no noise until..... I dropped a box of goldfish crackers on the ground from the cubbard. My mom ran out "Honey, are you okay?" She asked seeming quite worried. "YEAH. I'm fine, I just dropped a box, that's all." I said in a stirn voice, picking the box back up and walking past her back up to my room.
I could tell she was upset with how I was acting towards them, but hey if you don't tell me we are leaving to go to another state in less than 24 hours then sure I'm going to be upset with you. Well sure I love them but this is just a really hard time, I am just so confused and I don't want to leave, I even had the biggest crush on one of the guys at my school. As I'm walking back up to my room I felt a gulp in my througt and tears start to build in my eyes as I just start to bust out crying running to my room and face planting onto my bed.
I eventually cried myself to sleep around 8:00pm. I woke up at 2:00 in the morning totally flipping out remembering we are leaving at 6:00 to catch the plain, I hardly had any of my stuff packed thinking that my parents probably had all of their stuff packed all neat and organized. I started running out of time. It was now 4:45 in the morning, I still had quite a bit of stuff left to pack so I just go shuving my cloths into my suitcase not even folding it neatly. I had to hurry, I had to get my makeup, accessories, and my electronics. I packed them all into my Adidas bag and set them next to the rest of my stuff right outside my door. I set my alrm so that I didnt wake up late.
