Introduction to the vampires

Dracula, nosferatu, lestat, angel, edward... Vampires are some of the most enduring creatures in popular culture (and not just because they live forever). they are so popular that the king of vampires himself, count dracula, is one of the most featured fictional characters in  movies - he makes his appearance in over 200 films and counting. every generation seems to have its defining vampire these aren't the menacing, evil villains of ghost stories whispered in the dark - our vampires are romantic leading men, although with a definite edge! The ultimate bad boys, they have charm, they fall in love and they hate having to drink human blood to survive. of course, they are also wildy passionate, impossibly strong and will rip the throat from anyone who tries to harm their loved ones. and it doesn't hurt that all of just happen to be drop dead gorgeous, too.

scoring the role in a hot new vampire series means instant stardom from the lucky chosen actor. none of the three main men in this book - robot pattison, stephen moyer and iam somerhalder - were mega-famous before they played bloodsuckers. now hey're the hottestcommodities ever, and the appetite for vampires doesn't seem to be dying downanytime soon.
