Chapter 1: Party Planning

Qua'Nazia POV:

"Okay Niyah, we already ordered the cake, streamers, party favors. Now all we need are the balloons", I tell my bestfriend Aniyah. We are getting ready for her 18 birthday party which is in a few days.

"Well I want the balloons to be-", Aniyah starts to say before I cut her off.

"You want them to be green and blue. I know my bestie", I say laughing with Aniyah. I check balloons off the list before looking through the 'Oriental Trading' catalog. "Niyah where is Kahlese?"

Kahlese is our other best friend. She's supposed to be helping but she's always wondering off somewhere.

"I don't know. I think she went upstairs", Aniyah says.

I decide to go and look for her. As soon as I get up the steps, I hear music coming from the guest room. Bryson Tiller to be exact. I go into the room to see Kahlese dancing or "vibing", as she would say.

"Kahlese your supposed to be helping plan the party", I say laughing and rolling my eyes playfully.

She just ignores me and keeps on dancing. That's when 'Exchange' comes on and I begin dancing with her.

"You guys I-", Aniyah begins to say but stops when she sees us dancing. "You guys are supposed to be planning, not dancing", she says laughing.

"The party isn't until Friday which is 3 days away and we already have pretty much everything. I think we can break from party planning for a while", Kahlese says while doing the Milly Rock.

Aniyah laughs and says, "I guess you guys are right. I'm hungry though."

"Same", Kahlese and I say simultaneously.

"Y'all want China 10?", Aniyah asks.

"Yes!", I say.

"Alright well I'll order it", Aniyah says going downstairs to get her phone.

1 hour later

Now the girls and I are just laying around in our pajamas and we decided to watch movies. NETFLIX TIME!

Aniyah's POV:

"The balloons I want are-"

"Green and Blue", Qua'Nazia says cutting me off. "I know my bestie", she says as we laugh.

Right now we're planning my 18 birthday party which is in a few days. 1/29 to be exact.

"Niyah, do you know where Kahlese went?"

"I think she went upstairs."

Qua'Nazia then decides to go look for her. After 5 minutes, of no sign of Qua'Nazia or Kahlese, I decide to go look for the both of them.

"Where could they have gone?" , I ask myself. Once I get upstairs, I hear 'Exchange' by Bryson Tiller playing through the Beats Pill. I know they not listening to Bryson without me. As soon as I get to the room , I knock and say, " You guys are supposed to be planning, not dancing."

"The party isn't until Friday which is 3 days away and we already have pretty much everything. I think we can break from party planning for a while", Kahlese says while doing the Milly Rock.

I think about it for a while and decide that she's right. "I guess you are right. I'm hungry though."

"Same", Kahlese and Qua'Nazia say simultaneously.

Once we decide on China 10, they love chinese food, I order the food.

1 hour later

Once we fill ourselves up, we put on our pajamas and decide to sit around and be lazy and watch movies on Netflix.

Kahlese POV:

I am upstairs searching the internet for party ideas, when Bryson Tiller comes on on Spotify. I immediately get up and start dancing. As I'm dancing, I hear Qua'Nazia come in the room.

"Kahlese your supposed to be helping plan the party" , she says laughing and rolling her eyes playfully.

I just ignore her and keep on dancing. That's when 'Exchange' comes on and she begins dancing with me. Once we started dancing, we hear Aniyah come in. " You guys are supposed to be planning, not dancing.", she says while laughing.

"The party isn't until Friday which is 3 days away and we already have pretty much everything. I think we can break from party planning for a while", I say while doing the Milly Rock.

She sighs and says, "I guess you're right. I'm hungry though."

Qua'Nazia and I agree and we decide on eating China 10.

1 hour later

After we fill up our stomachs, we put on our pajamas and decide to watch Netflix movies for the rest of the night.
