CHAPTER 1: Acceptance E-mail

" ITS HERE!" I scream feeling the excitement boil up inside of me. This is it, I've been waiting for this E-mail for 3 weeks. I quickly pull my brown hair up into a messy bun before I turn on my laptop and hammer in my password.

"Hurry up, Hurry up, hurry up" I say as I unlock my phone to call Nicki my best friend who had auditioned with me to the best dance school in the country SDS

(Spotlight Dance School). I don't think my phone even rang when it suddenly said the phone call was connected.

"Have you got it?" Said the very hyper voice on the other side of the phone.

"Well hello to you too Nicki" I giggled

" Riley come on! we don't have time for hello, we need to open the E-mails, are you ready for our lives to be changed forever"

"Alright, Let's do this together. " I replied nervously.

And so we started counting down.

"3..............2.............1".

As soon as I heard the click of the mouse opening the E-mail I feel as if time is standing still, just for moment it was as if I had all the time in the world to myself....

It was then I realised that on the other side of the phone there was dead silence, which I got really worried about because Nicki is NEVER quiet.

"Well?" I say to her so so nervous that one of us got in and the other one didn't

"On the count of three we will tell each other if we got in or not ready?" Nicki squeaked

"1.......2.......3"

"I GOT IN" we both squealed at the same time.

"OMG WE BOTH GOT IN, THIS IS AMAZING I CANT BREATH WE ARE BOTH GOING TO SDS". I shouted over the phone.

"IM SO EXCITED TO BE DOING THIS WITH MY BEST FRIEND THIS IS AMAZING" squealed Nicki.

if only we knew what was in store for us the first week of term......
