"Charlie! That hurt! I hope worms eat you from the inside out!" 5 year old Janey cried out, while she glared at 5 year old Charlie standing above her.

"Children what's going on here?" The worried Mrs. Brand said as she came over when she heard petite, little Jane Lauphler on the ground crying while Charles Griddin stood above her.

Mrs. Brand assumed from the look of things that Jane was pushed down on the playground by Charles.

"My dress is all ruined!" Jane's dress was just dirty nothing a wash wouldn't fix, but tiny, innocent Janey didn't know that. "I hate you Charlie Giddin" Janey yelled out mispronouncing his name because of her five year old mentality.

Charles looked hurt at her words, but then his friends around him started laughing and he started laughing too. He wanted to be cool, to be liked. His friends thought he was the "bomb" because of the things he would do for their attention. Now, Charles had been looking a little too intently at Janey while she played house with her friends and Charles friends noticed and started making fun of him. Charles had to prove them wrong fast so he stormed up to Janey and her friends and pushed her down. He didn't realize she would react with such hatred.

The weekend before the Monday that Jane was pushed down was her birthday and her parents had gotten her a cute floral, pastel colored dress as her present. Little Janey was ecstatic to wear her new dress at school on Monday. While she played with her friends she was aware Charlie was looking at her, in fact he was staring. It made her worried because Charlie did bad stuff in the classroom but, she didn't do anything to him so he wouldn't bother her.... right?

1 Week Later....

Sort of the same thing happened again the next week. Janey looked really pretty with her hair in a bun and her to-to. Charlie was dragged to the concert by his parents. He was there for his little sister, now that the show finally got interesting he stopped staring at the floor or the ceiling. His eyes were on Janey. She knew every dance move. At the end of the show he tried clapping his hands the loudest. They were red and hurt afterwards.
