It happens when you turn 13. A small sapphire circle would appear on your right wrist. The Soulmate Circle. After you got it the next time you touched the person who was your soulmate little sapphire swirls would appear. And every time you touched your soulmate after that more would appear until your right arm was covered with patterns to the top of your shoulder. Every person's patterns were unique and beautiful.
The thing is, not everyone is given a soulmate. And a lot of the time when someone finds their soulmate, they are not that other person's soulmate.
They are easier to find, but it doesn't make them any less rare.
